Before him garnered a replica of Inoka which proceeded to leave the premises but not before justifying the means of the mission and where they would head too, he too followed suit to the higher ups commands, flickering so swiftly behind Inoka who was more vast within the sensory field than himself. Though, Inoka seemingly was a clone of the original, but not by the means of conventional ways or practices. The quickness of the steps of the men were precise in every way and form. Shijo was on the hunt, essentially the hunted would dearly become the woman who was regarded as his Auntie and the very Lady who stood at the pinnacle of the Uchiha Clan, Mirai Uchiha.

Inoka had strict orders and was worried that these orders could be promptly pushed array if Hokage acted out of anger instead of justification. Seeing that Inoka knew Suzaku so well, he briefed on what was going on before he had stepped outside of the compound. The Sharingan gleamed throughout the journey, as the eyes of Uchiha showcased rage and anger, but not to the naked eye nor to sensory. The thoughts of the Uchiha jolted without any second thought, it solely considered the direction and possibilities of the outcomes of the mission. There seemed to be no fear within the heart of the Uchiha named Shijo, his eyes were fixated on what was ahead and what was next.

“So Master Inoka, what do you think should be our first phase of action?” He asked within a rather abrupt tone of voice.

The voice was towards a man, who knew Shijo from when he was a child and watched him become the Captain of the Anbu. He is also the man who gives Shijo his orders outside of the Hokage, who is the leader of the village itself. Now it was time to see what would be the answer of the Yamanaka leader.

Kokezaru stood there one hand in his pocket as the other scratched the back of his head as the stupid grin didn't leave his face all the while he waited for the reply from Otaru. After a few moments Otaru would give the monkey boy a reply and even attempt to mock Kokezaru at the same time. Following this mocking reply Kokezaru watched as Otaru turned away from him and began to skip off towards their destination. It was pretty obvious to Kokezaru that this was not something Otaru had planned to do today and neither was it for him, but right now he had no choice but to go with the flow.

"Don't knock banana's, they are a health snack and the peels make great distractions," said Koezaru as he begun to follow Otaru who seemed to be having fun as he headed off. "Oh, and don't worry if your anywhere near as skilled as you are smug we'll be just fine," said Kokezaru attempting to throw a friendly verbal jab back at his new comrade to try an build some camaraderie.

Inoka's extraordinary sensory abilities were not merely limited to chakra detection but extended to encompass the very thoughts and electrical impulses of individuals, making it a formidable and unparalleled form of sensory perception. This unique skill set underscored why Inoka was not just a trusted advisor but also the right-hand man to Suzaku. With Inoka's sensory input relayed to him, Suzaku embarked on the trail of the elusive Lady Mirai, the revered leader of the Uchiha Clan.

Suzaku's pyrokinetic form, a manifestation of his mastery over fire chakra and clan ability, granted him unparalleled speed and agility. His movements were swift and elusive, challenging even the keen perception of a mature Sharingan user. This rapidity made him a force to be reckoned with, especially in pursuit situations where speed and stealth were paramount. As Suzaku traversed the terrain, his senses heightened by the activation and deactivation of Mirai's seal, he picked up on fleeting traces of Mirai's scent. Though brief, it provided a crucial secondary confirmation of her whereabouts, guiding Suzaku ever closer to his quarry.

As Suzaku landed with precision, his pyrokinetic form emitting waves of scorching fire chakra, he took defensive measures to block any foreign chakra from infiltrating his body. This precaution was crucial, ensuring that he remained shielded against potential genjutsu assaults or manipulations of his chakra flow. The combination of his focused gaze, defensive posture, and formidable fire chakra emanating from his form created an aura of unyielding determination and readiness. Suzaku was prepared to confront Lady Mirai and extract the answers he sought, regardless of the challenges that lay ahead.

Upon landing, Suzaku's intense fire chakra radiated from his form, scorching the grassy plains beneath him. The ground withered away under the onslaught of his heat, leaving behind an ebony scorched mark akin to a signal fire. This mark served as a beacon for his allies, Shijo and Inoka, guiding them to his location.

A mere ten feet away from Mirai, Suzaku's presence loomed large, his determination palpable. "I want answers. NOW!" he bellowed, his voice reverberating with ferocity and commanding authority. The ground trembled beneath their feet, and a rapid surge in temperature caused nearby birds to scatter in fear. The atmosphere crackled with tension, mirroring the intensity of Suzaku's interrogation as he focused his unwavering gaze on Mirai, demanding the truth amidst the heat and urgency of the moment.

LEGENDARY
The assignment in the Rain District was completed successfully, with the gathering of information and data as ordered by Hokage Suzaku of the Yohi. This task was carried out by Tenbo and Mugen, both from the Uchiha Clan. Together with Mugen and his trusted comrade Nezumi, Tenbo achieved much more beyond their official mandate within the Rain District. This exceeded the expectations set by the Will of Fire, stepping outside the bounds of their given jurisdiction and completely disregarding the authority in place. To adhere strictly to what was expected would have meant restricting his and his comrades' freedom of expression. Mugen and Nezumi were invaluable; who was he to thwart the desires of their hearts?

As he entered the Leaf District, a frontier of rodents awaited him, each one loyal and subject to his command. Many were the sons and daughters of Nezumi, while others pledged their faithfulness to Tenbo. Nevertheless, the two — human and rat — operated as one mind, guiding the hive with unified intent. Thus the continued to retrieve any source of information from the surrounding environments that could be provided useful. Tenbo continued into the leaf district, venturing far enough into the environment where he would eventually enter Konohagakure. His small friends absent from his person, but certainly always around - as he continued on directly to the Hokage's office with Shibuki in hand. Soon he'd arrived with Mugen, readied to enter the building and pursue way to knocking on the office door to be greeted by the Kage or his advisor, Inoka or Ayame. After knocking to alert of his presence, he'd allowed himself in to greet those within. His eyes closed but his layers of conscious and subconsciousness alert for what may ensure. "Greeting, we have completed our mission".

Inoka's seasoned reflexes kept his hands moving in a steady rhythm as he raced through the dense forest, his speed no match for Suzaku's unmatched agility and clan-boosted swiftness. Yet, his advanced sensory skills combined chakra detection with an intricate mental perception, allowing him to pinpoint the precise locations of both Mirai and Suzaku. Amidst their brisk journey, Shijo, ever alert, inquired about their strategy. Inoka's response was measured and focused, emphasizing caution and a clear objective. "Our main priority is to avoid interfering with Lord Suzaku's actions," he instructed with authority, his voice carrying years of experience. "There are additional chakra signatures nearby, suggesting potential threats or traps. We must stay vigilant."

The forest seemed to echo their caution, with birds hurriedly taking flight and thin plumes of grayish-black smoke hinting at potential danger. Inoka's senses remained sharp, attuned to the subtlest signs of trouble. "If Lord Suzaku's emotions spiral out of control, we must be ready to contain his power," he added, a touch of concern creeping into his normally composed demeanor. Every observation and insight gleaned from his sensory abilities fed back to the real Inoka at the Hokage's office, ensuring a coordinated and informed approach to the unfolding situation.

Orders were directly noted by Inoka entrusting Shijo to be swift and direct. Suzaku was a huge factor especially since he carried a lot of anger. Even the most seasoned sensory could by now isolate the very chakra current which emitted from the body of Suzaku. It showcased a very vicious attentive one which sought to bring wrath, engaging such a chakra would not be something that neither Shijo nor Inoka would do, now that the chakra was pinpointed the espionage would be easy for both of them. Their chakra signature itself was isolated, disappearing completely off the map. It’s as if they had some means of disbursing chakra, it was as if he had the ability to camouflage his very chakra. Certainly his eyes, gleaning deeper than before, resonating with intent itself, was something Inoka needed for such a mission.

“Lord Inoka, let's find a place to conceal ourselves and wait.” The Uchiha hinted towards his superior.

This is what the Uchiha lived for, it was something he wished to achieve at all cost. A mission where there was so much to lose in so little time. This mission could tip the scale if anything and since it involved someone like Mirai Uchiha, it could easily become a dangerous one. Though Suzaku was not one to make traitorous people pass or even get through himself and Inoka stood as the beacon of hope if everything else failed, this stood so promising even for the smallest of individuals, though this was much more of a clash of ideals. Shijo stood as the pinnacle of Anbu officer and his superior the head of all intelligence now it was just a time to act and to be swift about it.

Her eyes watched as Suzaku landed before her, his theatrics and shields noted as he sent the flames spiraling around them. As the tendrils of fire licked towards her, they dissipated into fluttering butterflies that flew around the Uchiha lady, the ground around her feet in a five foot circle untouched by any of Suzaku's chakra. The more the flames flicked and ravaged the more butterflies fluttered around the undisturbed lady.

He was wise to be cautious, however. She had had the head start on him, and her speed was enough that even his pyrokinetic form would not have been enough to catch her. His lapdog, the Yamanaka, could tout all the detection hacks and tricks he wanted, but everything had its limits. And Mirai had brought him here. A wiser man might have hesitated, observed the other presences that remained hidden. Maybe he would have noticed that he had placed himself perfectly between all of them. A simple jutsu would be all it took to subdue him.

She bowed her head at his arrival, staring up at him through long eyelashes; a cat eyeing a mouse innocently before it pounced.

"Lord Fourteenth," She stated, regally. "In order to receive answers, one must ask questions." Her tone was unwavering. The crackling in the atmosphere rammed into a hum of power not from the figure in front of Suzaku, but from all directions around him. A fool would think he could intimidate the leader of the Uchiha clan. Tenbo, Ichijo, Mujin, all great Shinobi, bowed before her. Strangers in the street refused to meet her gaze, fearful they would fall prey to the genjutsu she was no doubt a master of. Many of her clan were incredible warriors, and she, above all of them, was selected as their leader. She held up a slender finger, as a thoughtful expression overtook her features. "Hmmm, let me guess."

"Mirai Uchiha," A voice identical to Suzaku's boomed from the still shadowed forest surrounding the pair. The sound of all four beings rustling against the leaves, firm hands against bark, delicate steps on branches. "Why have you left the village?"

The girl tilted her head. "Perhaps I seek power. Perhaps I seek a hunt." She shrugged. "Perhaps my business is my own and I will not be held under a magnifying glass." Too many people were examining her recently. She was the leader of a clan rooted in a history synonymous with power. Her bloodline had saved the world, and now all these bugs had the audacity to test her?! "Your Anbu run about like chickens without heads, releasing the Two-Tails demon upon me, asking me to spy on members of my own clan, and you have the audacity to demand answers from me." She scoffs. "Perhaps you would have preferred I play the damsel? Arrive to your office and cry about the continuous affronts you impose on me? Squawk until you are delighted that I am a subservient shell, a being who will never oppose you?" She took a casual step towards him. "You want a servant? Hire one. You want a clan lord, respect them."

"You did not request leave, Mirai Uchiha." The same voice boomed, this time from a different source.

"Better to ask for forgiveness rather than permission, I suppose, but I am leaving today." The finality in her voice turned her will palpable, weighing in the air, pushing against the Hokage's own. A challenge perhaps, or an invitation to lower those defenses for even the briefest of seconds to see if his will could outdo her own. If he could subdue her before she invaded his mind. "I am the Lord of the Uchiha, not a pet to be leashed." Venom dripped from those words, as anger flashed across her features. The butterflies multiplied mid-air, a solidified beacon of her presence, and a warning to anyone who answered the call of the Hokage.

Their fiery wings danced through the leaves around them, singeing the leaves with a brief hiss. Opposed to the flock of birds and loud booms that Suzaku brought with him, Mirai brought about silence.

"This is an act of betrayal!" Suzaku's voice cried from a different direction this time.

"If I decide to betray you my lord, it will either far too late for you to stop me, or far too quick for you to do anything about it." Her voice was smooth, unbothered, and her gaze did not waver from his own as a glint of red flashed beneath the gray. "But alas, my loyalties still lie with the Leaf. And the clan that I watch over, not only for their own sakes, but for the sake of all of the District. If I am not clan lord, then the responsibility would fall to... Someone else." She didn't bother mentioning specific names. Shijo's monitoring of Tenbo and Mugen was surely an order by Suzaku. He could think about what would happen if the Uchiha clan followed their ideals instead of her own.

"What are the beings in the shadows?"

"Clones. Or maybe I am the clone and the real Mirai lies in the shadows, watching to see what the Lord will do." Her smile was devious. "Or perhaps we are all clones, and the real Mirai has already crossed the bridge into the Cloud District, and all we are is a distraction to ensure she can disappear." She spared a glance to the bridge. That was where her chakra was being pulled to. Was it aching to return to the host body of the true Mirai? Was it a powerful technique being prepared? Or something even Mirai dared not think too closely of.

They were clones, making small preparations in the off chance that Suzaku decided that he was going to attack her, but they served a different primary focus: They monitored outwards, ensuring that nobody got close enough to hear the pair. The biggest weakness of suppression was that sound and sight where still viable options to be seen. The rustling had been them searching bushes, climbing through the foliage and setting traps in places one might hide.

When Lords talked, the only ones who should be listening were those they deemed worthy.

The atmosphere changed suddenly, the butterflies immediately disappearing, Mirai's will retreating back into into her. The four beings in the shadows dispersed, signatures disappearing completely. Now it was only the two of them. Even Mirai's features softened.

"I am leaving, Lord Suzaku," She said simply. "And if you try to stop me, it will be in vain." She turned and began walking towards the bridge. "I will send word when I find what I am looking for." Whatever it turned out to be.

She had shown him her weapons, and sheathed them, a bid for peace. If he attacked now, it would be solely his fault for the ensuing fallout.

Suzaku was more than just the embodiment of the Will of Fire, he was the most potent and deadliest form of the natural element. The nature of the man reflected the intensity and destruction power of the flames and was second to none, tis why even the Uchiha recognized the prowess. The red-haired demon towered over the 5’5 foot woman who wished to meet the flames of purgatory, a world known as hell that could be summoned to Earth anytime Suzaku desired to and this moment would be it. Hades had no worldly possessions. Love was not a feeling that he projected nor received in life. Suzaku demanded loyalty and respect above else and this lack of it during this exchange swayed Suzaku’s intentions to kill. On paper, the vermillion-haired shinobi was an elder of Konohagakure that had existed within this physical body for 50 years. The ideals of Mirai were dangerous and necessary to be corrected by any means necessary. The short onyx-haired woman was ill-informed of her diplomatic status, in which she equated her status of Uchiha Lordship equal to greater to that of the Hokage, which was further from the truth. The 26 year old kunoichi mental illness helped her belief that she stood a chance to the man who led and contributed to the village several times over before she was a thought.

Amid the tumultuous engagement, Suzaku's pyrokinetic aura proved to be an impenetrable shield against the intricate illusions that often befell those who encountered Uchiha prowess. The once-present butterflies, symbolic of the Uchiha's artistry in weaving genjutsu, were now nullified, their ephemeral beauty dissipating into the surrounding chaos. Despite the heightened tension and the enigmatic presence of Mirai, Suzaku's focus remained unwavering, his vermilion eyes honing in on the enigmatic woman while intentionally averting his gaze from her hypnotic Sharingan.
e60a62d1c15a047decfc3efdb46fc78b.png

A subtle shift occurred within Suzaku's eyes, a prelude to the unleashing of his hidden dojutsu—the Yōgan. As his pupils vanished into an abyss of crimson radiance, Suzaku's perception transcended mere mortal limits. With the Yōgan active, he could discern the intricacies of the battlefield with unparalleled clarity. His attention zeroed in on Mirai's butterfly-shaped shield, a testament to her defensive prowess, yet vulnerable to the raw power of Suzaku's innate abilities. Through the manipulation of his ocular prowess, Suzaku began to exert his influence upon the ambient heat surrounding the battlefield, both inside and outside the confines of Mirai's protective barrier. With deft precision, he altered the very fabric of the atmosphere within the shield, intensifying the already sweltering temperature to a debilitating degree. The once protective cocoon now transformed into a purgatorial crucible, testing the endurance of even one as skilled as Mirai. The scorching heat encased within the barrier inflicted upon Mirai the disorienting effects of heat syncope, threatening to sap her strength and clarity of mind. Her affinity for fire release, a power once harnessed with finesse, now became a double-edged sword as the flames within Suzaku's domain surged with the potency of both Fire Release and Yang Release. It was a testament to Suzaku's mastery over elemental forces, a display of power that transcended the ordinary boundaries of shinobi combat.

During the escalating conflict, Mirai's voice seemed to fade into the inferno of chakra-infused flames and Suzaku's overwhelming aura. The crackling of fire and the roaring of the flames would have drowned out any attempts at communication or verbal jutsu, rendering Mirai's voice and chakra impotent against Suzaku's pyrokinetic onslaught. It was as if her words were swallowed by the very heat and power radiating from Suzaku's form.

The intense heat would not only scorched Mirai's physical body but also seemed to sear away any semblance of resistance or defiance. The heat was so intense that it created a barrier of its own, isolating Suzaku and Mirai within a realm of fiery punishment. Within this fiery maelstrom, the laws of sound and communication were bent to the will of the God of Fire himself, rendering any attempts at negotiation or reasoning futile. Suzaku's aura was a testament to his mastery over fire and yang chakra, a force to be reckoned with that could reshape the very fabric of reality around him. The environment bore witness to his power, with trees wilting and earth cracking under the intense heat and pressure. Ordinary flames paled in comparison to Suzaku's divine inferno, for he was not just a wielder of fire but an embodiment of its raw essence.

In this moment, Suzaku stood as a deity of destruction, his intent clear and unwavering. Defiance against his rule was met with the unyielding fury of the sun itself, a force that knew no equal in the realm of elemental manipulation. Mirai, despite her prowess and affinity for fire release, found herself powerless against the overwhelming might of Suzaku's flames and the yang chakra that fueled them. The battlefield became a canvas of chaos and devastation, a testament to the clash of titans between Suzaku, the God of Fire, and Mirai, the Uchiha leader. It was a display of power and dominance that left no room for negotiation or compromise, for in the presence of such overwhelming force, resistance was futile.

Every action had an equal and opposite reaction. Mirai had left, and so Suzaku had given chase. She had not respected him, something she so heartily demanded of those around, her, and so she had drawn his wrath. Her search for power, her paranoia, her sadness, all of it swelled as the Hokage aimed to put her down. She raised a hand as his eyes coated over in their clans red dojutsu, signaling for him to stop before his flames ravaged the land.

Her butterflies were not an illusion, but very real. The care and craft that Mirai put into her Fire Release could not be understated. They flitted together, landing about the forest, illuminating the darkness. Amongst the branches, placed everywhere the clones had been running, were explosion tags, completely surrounding the pair. Ready to go off if either party decided to use their signature techniques; threatening to destroy one or both of them.

She was not mentally ill; she was lost. A being who wanted to matter but still felt that she would be pushed into the background. Begging to be seen. To be heard. To be nurtured. Perhaps it had been a mistake to label someone so young the pinnacle of her clan, when she clearly had wanted to grow so much more before being forced into an office, forced to go stagnant. To sag and grow weak until she was a trickle of her former power.

Her mind worked fast, double the speed of the Hokage's. All of her realizations coming to fruition in before he could increase the temperature within her shield. If she fought Suzaku, it would be a battle that changed the trajectory of the Uchiha clan. If she won, she was a traitor, her vision no longer capable of being imposed on them. All that she worked for, all the people she had slain and fought would be a waste. If she lost, she would be a defeated woman, fallen from grace, or worse still dead. Either way this went now, she would not She needed to decide if she needed power more, or her clan.

She bowed once again, at her waist this time. She would not fight Suzaku. She had decided even before he arrived that she would not unsheathe her blade against the Hokage, nor would she do anything that risked the safety of her clan.

"It appears I have much to learn, my lord. I apologize for my disrespect." She said. "I will return with you to village."

The clones dispersed in audible puffs of smoke, and Mirai's shield and butterflies disappeared.

She stepped aside, gesturing to the bridge. To where he power drew towards. To the figure slowly making her way back to the main land.

The actual Mirai, no doubt about it. Her aura was double of the figure that stood before her. Her gaze looked past the Hokage; distant and defeated. When she reached the step of the bridge she finally looked at the Hokage.

"You're wise, you've encountered Uchiha who make my power look like a child's," She called, looking down again, not wanting him to mistake her sincerity for an attempt to entrap him. "Does it go away? The insecurity and the yearning for power?" She looked back behind her at the border she had been so close to crossing. She would have kept going, but she found herself in the same position that she had earlier in the day. A crossroads, between choosing herself and choosing her clan. Even if the Hokage had decided to let her go she might have turned around anyway and returned.

Her distance was still careful, measured. She was smart not to lower her defenses to the Hokage, he was clearly not in the right state of mind. If he decided to still attack, she would need to work carefully to ensure that neither of them were harmed.

Itami would glance sideways at Takashi before motioning him away from Hanako.
"I got her, No offense to be given, but this is something I will bring to the Hokage myself."

Itami would then follow Takashi into the leaf village. There were affairs afoot here however, Itami could feel the Shinobi moving with intensity. He paid no mind to this, it was the Leaf's problems. Following Takashi Itmai didn't speak much, Itami focused on locating his Son, Taichi. Locating him he would keep this in mind as he continued on the path towards the Hokage's office.

As Takashi brought Itami to the Gate of the Leaf's village, they were greeted by Jonin who seemed a little panicky. Itami would allow Takashi to address them as he looked beyond them and into the leaf village. It seemed busy for such an early morning. Not having had time to prepare for this trip, and with only a few days remaining before he must rest, Itami would still look flushed and wear the damage of his fight in Stone District.

If Takashi adverted the guards, Itami would follow him further and into the village, following the roads until they reached a large domed building under the famous mountain of Hokage faces. On the steps of the Hokage's building, Itami would allow Takashi to swing the doors open. There in the main lobby, Itami would bring Hanako. Itami understood why Takashi wanted to bring Hanako himself, yet Takashi might not understand why Itami insisted on doing so.

Political ramifications be damned about anything else Suzaku and Itami might of done to each other in the long day that was yesterday. Itami wanted to be seen delivering the criminal of Leaf, who had assaulted his District. So there Itami dragged Hanako into the main lobby before dusting his hands off.

"Yoooooo!" his voice boomed.

"You lost something, I kicked the shit out of it and brought it back here. " Itami would set the sealed Hanako with only her head exposed in the center of the room. His gold-masked ANBU would return shortly to surround the Tsuchikage. They leaned in whispering what they'd heard and seen, reported on Taichi's exact whereabouts, and then informed Itami that the Hokage had rushed off on another matter.

" Lots of things going on it seems, Hope y'all have time for me today!"

Itami spoke to the lobby as a whole, not wanting to prolong this situation any longer than he needed too, There was things he'd have to take care of personally in Stone, a son to find, a wife to find, and revenge to plot. He had hoped the Hokage would be eager to resolve this interaction between districts as well.

" If Lord Hokage needs any help wrapping up his internal affairs, point me in the direction, i'm not keen on waitin' around... "
