In the present moment, two formidable intellects engaged in dialogue, each word carefully weighed and considered before spoken. Tenbo observed Shijo's precision in speech, recognizing the selective nature of his disclosures. As a seasoned shinobi, Tenbo possessed the acumen to connect dots effortlessly. His tenure in the Anbu and subsequent captaincy attested to his exceptional skill in discernment. His covert prowess extended even within his own clan, known only to a select few like Ichijo. Fame eluded him; his focus lay solely on duty. Despite their shared analytical nature, Shijo divulged vital information. Tenbo acknowledged Shijo's genuine curiosity, though his enigmatic persona made it challenging for trust to fully bloom. Raising an intrigued eyebrow, Tenbo responded to Shijo's assertion about his inquisitive nature and core essence.

"A simpleton dances to any tune, but you are no fool prone to reckless choices," he remarked, his words calibrated for their ears alone. "However, your ambition, while a blessing, could lead to vulnerability if unchecked—a vulture, waiting at life's edge to exploit what remains."

His voice lowered, yet maintained its intensity as he circled behind Shijo, a deliberate movement underscoring his words. "A vulture..." he murmured, his tone intentionally flat, tinged with disappointment. "Such creatures strike opportunistically, scavenging the remnants of life."

A sigh escaped him as he directed his gaze downward, not in closure but in focused contemplation. "What remains... disappoints me," he continued wearily, now standing opposite Shijo, his posture unwavering as he assessed the man before him. Tenbo discerned Shijo's deficiency, a gap he could help bridge. From a philosophical perspective, he could offer insight that would refine Shijo's essence and self-awareness. Tenbo's own self-awareness was his greatest asset, a tool he sought to impart to the young operative, leading him toward wisdom. Though typically stoic, Tenbo harbored genuine interest in Shijo's growth, viewing this encounter as a teaching moment. Whether Shijo embraced the lesson or not, Tenbo aimed for him to feel the sting of disappointment, a catalyst for potential growth.

tttttttt.png

Tenbo operated with purpose and self-interest. While Shijo stood to gain significantly from becoming his apprentice, leveraging Tenbo's intellect and experience could propel him to unparalleled heights as a shinobi. It was a service Tenbo had never offered before, recognizing its potential to benefit Shijo more than himself. Despite his controlled demeanor, Tenbo pondered the implications of extending this offer, considering the political landscape and potential future alliances it could foster. Reflecting on their interaction, Tenbo recognized the opportunity presented by Shijo's impressive abilities. None of his trusted subordinates or comrades had ever been granted such mentorship, but Shijo's potential warranted consideration. As the commander, Tenbo held sway over relationships and authority, seeing a strategic advantage in grooming Shijo. During their exchange, Tenbo meticulously noted Shijo's reactions, shaping the encounter to his advantage. "The answers lie within you, Shijo. I see the person you aspire to be, and I can guide you towards that path," he stated plainly, his tone sharp yet truthful. He withheld his nindo, believing Shijo had not yet earned the privilege of knowing it. In this dynamic, Tenbo recognized the potential for Shijo to surpass him one day, a thought he acknowledged with both caution and intrigue. The conversation was far from over; Tenbo had a plan in motion, unbeknownst to Shijo. Despite his genuine desire to help him, Tenbo harbored expectations in return for his mentorship should he extend it. "The cost of admission is steep—are you willing to pay it?" Tenbo's tone softened, a calm and pleasant facade masking the weight of his question. It was perhaps the most profound inquiry he posed, deserving of careful consideration. The true price lay in the future, in the realm of the unknown. Would Shijo be able to accept the offer in the present moment? Tenbo harbored no expectations from Shijo; at this juncture, he saw him as merely a vulture scavenging life's remnants. Yet, the offer remained open, awaiting Shijo's response and potential transformation.

Obligation was not subjective by no means to the honor of Shijo. He saw it fitting that he could discern the little information that Tenbo placed within this discourse. It was not a lack of charisma nor attitude by either Uchiha they stood toe above other members of their very clan. It was simply mind boggling that men stood as authenticators, speaking the same language and corresponding in the same wavelength. Minuscule people would fail to even fathom the resolute conditions of their minds. They could psychologically break down anything within a mere moment, this made it hard for even a Yamanaka to venture within their mind. The realm of strength was not scoped by just physicality but mentality. The wish to become the vulture’s apprentice was something the young man dreamt about, yet he felt it was bitter sweet. Catching the eyes of the man was not as soon as he expected, However it was better late than ever.

“Yes a vulture, who is in the realm of decay and desolation, the vulture finds its muse. It circles above the arid landscape, its keen eyes scanning the earth below for the poetry of death and renewal. That’s what I am..” He explained like a whispering shadow.

The discourse between Shijo and Tenbo seemed to have little attachment to the past, focusing instead on the unfolding future. Despite Tenbo's probing questions about the fables and riddles that Shijo shared, there was a mutual exchange of information, with Shijo adeptly providing insights through cryptic means. Shijo's capability intrigued even someone as astute as Tenbo, suggesting that his skills and knowledge transcended ordinary comprehension. Perhaps it was this enigmatic quality that sparked Tenbo's interest, prompting him to delve deeper into the mysteries that surrounded Shijo. In their exchanges, there was an unspoken acknowledgment of mutual respect and curiosity, as both individuals navigated the currents of conversation with a sense of intrigue and anticipation for what the future might hold.

“One can say i’m willing to sacrifice my livelihood…the remorse I have yet will have me acting simply as an avenger more than scavenger… I am ready to disembark from this destiny to ascend to this new one.” He concluded within a soft tone of voice.

As Shijo stood amidst the shadows and darkness, his gaze seemed to penetrate beyond the veil of the present, perhaps glimpsing into the uncertain depths of the future. Yet, amidst the uncertainty, one thing remained clear: his mind was consumed by pain, fueled by a thirst for revenge. This inner turmoil was a hidden facet of Shijo's character, one that Tenbo may not have been privy to. While their discourse continued, Tenbo may have sensed that there was more to Shijo than met the eye, a complexity lurking beneath the surface of their intellectual exchanges.
Their conversation, though far from over, unfolded like a dance of minds, each probing the other for insights and understanding. As two intellectual beings engaged in this timeless dialogue, the true depths of Shijo's motivations and desires remained shrouded in mystery, waiting to be uncovered in the shadowy recesses of his soul.

Gyoken was deep in the process of merging his own chakra with that of Matatabi, a feat that had become somewhat familiar to him. As he focused the combined chakra around his hands, he aimed to shape it into a form that honored Matatabi's image, a task that melded respect with ambition. Despite his vivid imagination of the jutsu's potential appearance, his initial attempt fell short of his mental blueprint. Not deterred, Gyoken tried again, this time channeling the Matatabi's iconic blue flames around his hands. But as he launched an attack at a nearby tree, the flames recoiled unexpectedly. The air heated rapidly around him, popping loudly and propelling Gyoken backwards with such force that he collided with a tall tree, the impact causing both the tree and Gyoken to shudder.

Knocked unconscious by the violent backlash, Gyoken's revival came courtesy of his loyal ninken companion. The cat, persistent in its efforts, licked and purred at Gyoken, calling out with concerned "Meowwwws" until he stirred from his unintended slumber. As consciousness regained its hold, Gyoken slowly rose to his feet, taking a moment to stabilize before fully standing. Assessing his surroundings, he realized the force of the blast had thrown him a considerable distance. Shaking hands did little to dampen his spirits; instead, a smile cracked across his face—a recognition that while far from perfected, his jutsu had the makings of something formidable.

Realizing the need for guidance to master this nascent "Matatabi Fire Big Ball Punch Boom Boom Jutsu"—a name that highlighted Gyoken’s less-than-subtle approach to nomenclature—he scanned his memory for a suitable mentor. His thoughts were interrupted as he looked upward and spotted Takashi Hyuuga, also known as The Fallen Fist, perched above him. Takashi, renowned for his innovative combination of fire release with the gentle fist technique, seemed like the perfect candidate to help refine Gyoken’s fire fist jutsu.

Overcome with a rush of excitement, Gyoken scaled the remainder of the tree with renewed vigor, positioning himself beside Takashi. Breathlessly, he implored, "Master Takashi, can you please train me? I need your help mastering the Matatabi Fire Big Ball Punch Boom Boom Jutsu." The plea, delivered in a single, eager breath, underscored his desperation and hope. Standing there, his gaze fixed on Takashi, Gyoken waited, the anticipation palpable in the air, hoping for an affirmative that would set him on the path to mastering what could be his ultimate jutsu.

A nod was what Tenbo responded with, he continued to become more aware of the individual, Shijo. The more the man spoke, the enigma learned and formulated opinion. The Uchiha standing near him doubled down on the vulture comment, it was something that was distasteful. He understood its multiple meanings, allowing him to theorize the many applications belonging to that mentality and life-style. It did nothing to sway Tenbo in accepting Shijo's request, however, his offer still stood. Although they have had a delightful and intriguing conversation, the time for it had now passed. Tenbo presented the opportunity and it was answered with an indirect answer. He had already communicated what he would now be anticipating, as well as see to be true the revelation of protecting Tenbo's reputation and interest. After all, he was a high-ranking covert operative in the forces directly authorized by the Hokage and his trusted administration. The purposeful question wasn't asked the way Tenbo wished, yet, he now had not a question but a requirement. "It was a pleasure speaking to you, Shijo. However, I now must go. When you are ready to give me a direct answer - then we will see if you may become my apprentice." Tenbo stated plainly, his time used effectively. His impression of Shijo was varied, something he would spend time calculating later. If Shijo had nothing else to say, Tenbo would vanish within the wind that blew strongly, untraceable and undetectable in the same manner in which he had approached.

Still resting on the thick branch of the tree, Takashi's focus remains fixed on Shijo and Lord Tenbo, their secret conversation laid bare to his keen surveillance skills. Utilizing his lip-reading prowess, Takashi silently deciphers their dialogue from a distance, unseen and unheard by the Uchiha duo. However, his solitude does not last long thanks by arrival of another Uchiha, named Gyoken with spiky brown hair which stands out from the classic black hair among his fellow clan's men. Without even looking at the boy's direction, Takashi sees him thanks to his dōjutsu having near-360º field of vision around himself,"What do you want Gyoken?" Takashi wonders without breaking the focus from both Shijo and Lord Tenbo's direction.

After Gyoken's request for assistance mastering a new ninjutsu with a ridiculous name, Takashi falls silent for a few seconds. Different thoughts fly around in his head and different scenarios and potential outcomes plays out in front of him briefly. Without uttering a word, Takashi raises his arm and swiftly forms a one-armed hand seal, by crossing his middle finger over the index one he creates an "X" formation with both fingers. Suddenly, next to Takashi, a cloud of smoke is temporarily created and when it clears, a perfect replica of himself—his clone now stands looking at the young Uchiha. "As you can see, I'm rather busy at the moment, so my clone, 'who is also me'," the clone interjects, pointing to himself with his thumb. "will help you with the technique." As Takashi once again falls silent the clone begins to speak towards Gyoken. "Let's head off to master your jutsu and perhaps give it a better name!" With that said, the clone grasps Gyoken's collar, the clone leaps into action, whisking the eager young Uchiha away to one of the training fields, leaving the real Takashi behind to continue his own mission. With Gyoken taken away for private training with Takashi's clone to master his own ninjutsu, he continues to follow the conversation in front of him

Abstracted people lacked the comprehension of this meeting of the two. Different yet similar polar opposite stood to be aligned and of course it was because of his ‘faith’ to Tenbo, it was the typical ‘fate’ he provided in just cause of this meeting. Indicating change and merit which was well needed for the course which the village was heading to. His involvement with Tenbo was crucial to the growth of young Uchiha who looked to gain as much from this arrangement than even Tenbo had imagined. Calculated and probably organised within his thoughts he garnered the moot that Tenbo was an enigma who sought to do anything underhanded and diabolical to gain strive within the eyes of the village. It was also possible that his riddles would not be accepted as a means to please the individual who he wanted to be his master. So words which followed his riddles would be revealed towards the man who he idolized.

“Lord Tenbo, honestly I am looking to gain much more leverage and strength with my eyes.. The same eyes that you yearn, however I seek it to propel me to the eventful leader of the clan.”

His words would be heard by the Uchiha relic no matter what, as it allowed him to understand that this deep admiration for him was not just for Tenbo to gain but for himself also to gain. Continuing to speak, the radiance of his voice did not elevate it was same sound and same pitch.

“I understand you may be interested in the clan, however you see where a fellow member of your team is the leader, but to be honest with you the reigns of the clan would be more suitable in your hands if not mine. I am not trying to plant discourse, it's just an assessment…I told the clan lady as well as your brother about the Hokage’s plot against you. Did they tell you?”

Discourse, was not a play here was it? It was simple, the Uchiha Clan was within turmoil for years and it needed to be saved. For Shijo he believed that it was his father’s doing and not much of Mirai Uchiha's fault. His thoughts about her were simple, she was not a suitable fit for the clan lord and proving it was not going to be hard on him. The direction of his thoughts would now rest upon Tenbo Uchiha who seemingly was the enigma that no one knew was his motives nor what were his plans.

The confrontation had escalated beyond the expected parameters for Soichiro and Gensaku, the Uchiha lord’s might proving too overwhelming for the duo tasked with escorting Mirai to the Intelligence Division. The situation had reached a tipping point; Mirai's disregard for authority mirrored that of a rogue Hokage, a level of insubordination that could not go unchecked. Despite their best efforts, it was clear that Mirai’s power and defiance demanded a more direct approach.

As the intensity of the situation intensified, with blinding flames and scorching heat encroaching, both Soichiro and Gensaku realized the futility of continuing the confrontation. With practiced coordination, they executed a series of hand seals for the replacement technique—swiftly substituting their positions with logs just moments before the fiery onslaught could consume them. This timely decision likely spared them from severe consequences.

Retreating strategically using the body flicker technique, Soichiro and Gensaku regrouped at the Intelligence Division Building. Although they had failed to secure Mirai as planned, they understood the critical nature of their orders: engaging in a drawn-out battle with the Lady of the Uchiha was beyond their mandate and could have led to disastrous outcomes. The information about their encounter and tactical withdrawal was promptly relayed to Inoka via a secure telepathic link, ensuring that the leadership was immediately informed of the field conditions.

"Soichiro and Gensaku, take it easy for now. I will speak to Mirai in person this time," Inoka’s calm, authoritative voice echoed telepathically. His decision to handle the matter personally reflected the gravity of the situation and his role as a mediator and leader. Positioned within the grandeur of the Hokage's Manner, Inoka awaited Suzaku's arrival, prepared to address the complex web of loyalty, power, and discord that the day's events had further entangled. This direct intervention by Inoka signaled a shift towards a more diplomatic approach, perhaps indicative of a broader strategy to restore balance and discipline within the ranks.

As Mugen continued to control the flow of chakra through his new technique, from the lurking shadows, The Shadow of K.L.A.W would make his move. Not removing himself from his position, the masked assassin would throw out Three Senbons coated in the Mythical Toxins of the Rainbow Herb, a Toxin that only has one cure; the very same herb that created it. A herb only found in a secret location of the Tendo Clan Estates which had currently moved the source to the Organizations hidden Location. As the wind creates a slicing sound, the senbons closed in and struck true; each piercing vital locations allowing the toxins to swiftly spread through Mugens System, rapidly breaking down the RNA of his DNA; ribosomes breaking which would leave Mugen Three days of living before his body and genetics are reduced to a pile of mush. Mugen though feeling the sharp pain quickly focused his attention around, beads of sweat already coursing down his face a symptom of the toxins taking hold over his life as his Sharingan tried to locate the Chakra of his attacker but to no avail. His life now in danger the Uchiha unleashed his Jutsu, a stream formation variation being unleashed as the heat and flames scorched the grounds and trees to burning cinders. But it was for nought as he had missed his attack revealing the Shadow of K.L.A.W having utilized Body flicker to appear beside the Uchiha's left flank. His hand in reach of the Uchiha's eyes as he'd quickly tear out the Sharingan from the socket. Screaming in pain, Mugen grasped his eyeless sockets, stumbling back as the Assassin sent by K.L.A.W sought to finish this once and for all. Drawing his kunai, and with a swift swing of the blade, it swiftly carved the flesh away from fabric; blood splattering across the grass as Mugen stumbled forward; Senbons still lodged in his flesh. Each step he stumbled forward the quicker his body began to feel cold and heavy. His knee's giving out as the Uchiha fell face first into the grass and soil. His thoughts racing as the Memory walls shattered as he neared the end of his life; His memory being restored as he finally came to realize his admiration for Tenbo and Mujin Uchiha were not of Friends but that of brotherly bond by blood. As he laid their wishing he could have done more for his brothers, the life slowly fades; his chakra ascending to the Pure lands; an event that those shared by blood would feel as a shiver on their skin. The Assassin though Having finished his first objective with his Chakra supressed Vanished from sight, Leaving the Active Three Tomoe Sharingan in a canister that would be left at the residence of Mujin and Mirai Uchiha; with a letter only saying "Mugens Eyes". Gyoken's enthusiasm was palpable, his curiosity piqued by Takeshi's unwavering focus. Just as Gyoken prepared to use chakra to ascend the tree and investigate further, he was startled by the sudden appearance of Takeshi's clone right next to him. His surprise morphed into excitement, marked by a loud "WOAHHHH!" that echoed through the area, matched by the spirited "Meowwwww!" from the cat perched on his shoulder.

Eager to demonstrate his burgeoning abilities, Gyoken stepped away from the tree that supported Takeshi, targeting another tree about 10 meters away. He began to channel his chakra to his eyes, mimicking Takeshi's Byakugan, which allowed him to observe the flow of chakra within his own body. This introspection enabled Gyoken to harness both his innate chakra and that of the Matatabi, merging them into a more potent and powerful form. As he concentrated, blue flames enveloped his fists, growing in intensity, though asymmetry between his left and right fist became apparent. With a deep breath, Gyoken focused intently, adjusting and squeezing the chakra to even out the flames until they were nearly equal, albeit still a few inches off.

"Here we go," Gyoken declared, his voice steady with determination. He positioned his fists by his sides, then thrust them forward towards the targeted tree. The unleashed technique was a sight to behold; the blue flames exploded forward with such force that the tree evaporated in a single, devastating blow. However, the recoil was more than Gyoken had anticipated, and he quickly lost his balance. His body hurtled backward uncontrollably, and he silently hoped that Takeshi would intervene to break his fall, preventing another rough landing as his momentum carried him back toward where the real Takeshi stood.

*Listen while you Read*
There was almost, disappointment in her eyes when they retreated. They had gone so far, done so much and when it seemed like they might get a peek at her power, they fled. The clone dissipated, returning Mirai to her power.

The bright light brought on by Mirai disappeared along with her as she made her way to the UMC, the entire building abuzz with activity as she arrived, poised and angered. The rage that radiated off of her was enough to halt the usual entourage of people that swarmed her when she came into the building. Even so it seemed that they were busy with their own activities, the implications of a "Scenario 4" seeming to put everyone in this building on edge.

She paused in the doorway, surveying her clan. She raised her hand, a small butterfly flickering into existence, perched on her finger.

“Find Tenbo and Ichijo.” She said simply, the being of fire fluttering away from her and into the streets and alleys of the Leaf City, honing in on whatever traces of the pairs it could find. They would flit in front of their targets, even landing on an outstretched hand or a shoulder to ensure that both men knew that it was a sign of Mirai wanting to speak with them. "All guests are to be turned away unless I have specifically requested them," she ordered to the people around her. "Every single one! I don't care if Madara himself shows up on our doorstep."

While that task was being accomplished, Mirai moved through the building, eyeing everything carefully.

A Scenario Four was a complete lockdown of the UMC. Sensor-nin tuned their focus outwards, searching for anything that might be an attack, or a threat to the building. Barrier specialists were prepared to throw up the famed fire barriers of their clan, positioning themselves carefully and hidden, ready to protect this building at all costs. At the slightest sign of trouble, the building would become a beacon of the Uchiha standing against whatever threat there was to be faced.

She had originally created this scenario to protect the people of Leaf City, should an attack happen. The UMC was only a little smaller than the Hokage's Headquarters in size, so having two points of which shelter people would prove the value of the clan, make them indisposable. Now it might serve as the center of a resistance against the suffocating boot that was Suzaku's and Inoka's reign.

There was much to think about. Her decisions leading forward would change the trajectory of an entire people, perhaps an entire country. While she had initially bid for peace, being dragged somewhere to be interrogated like she wasn't a woman of immense standing was simply something she could not allow to happen. She could not allow herself to be restricted, or bound to something or someone else when she had to do what was best for her people.

As she moved through the building, her steps came to a pause, her gaze flicking out towards the Uchiha Training grounds. Something just happened. It wasn't a technique, or some hidden ability, but rather a feeling that she had, deep in her gut. She shook her head, continuing her way up the building.

"I need to rest." She grumbled to herself. The village felt abuzz still, thrumming with energy and activity, and she was thankful that she had gotten a couple hours of rest earlier, if she hadn't the light pull in her mind would have been much heavier. She sat at her desk, staring at all the paperwork she had thought she would be filing today: A request for a meeting with the Hokage, Gyoken's recruitment offer, an investigation into Tenbo's recent activities. She huffed, gathering them and throwing them into her desk drawer before reaching a hand up to rub her temples.
