A sea of quietness hushed over the Leaf District, resulting in the creation of an harmonic overture that engulfed the entire continent. This newly profound shared value of peace reduced the crime rate by a staggering rate. The Leaf District like many others were losing profits by not protecting protecting smaller counties Eventually the smaller counties subsided and was annexed by larger nations thus creating what we all know today as Districts. The Leaf District had lost funding needing to redirect their military funds into hospitable operations, hoping to make back profits by selling 'peace'. The thought of such sponsorship left a strong distaste. The catastrophic actions of the old world brought birth to a dramatically different world for shinobi. This world embodied the definition of a utopia. This world was meant to let shinobi die out, and this had not sat idle in Suzaku's heart. The kanji that symbolized peace was immediately pitted against the hottest flames known to shinobi. Man was despicable, an unworthy species that had not utilized their natural born right of chakra. Man sat idle, developed trades, skills, and acquired an education to create nothing but normalities. Shinobi was an advance form of evolution, and to Suzaku they were the new norm. Suzaku had not acquired the title as Hokage, to continue to expanding world peace. The title as Hokage, meant he was the strongest in District, this position was a testament to his strength.

Concerns of the future of shinobi spread like wildfire. The thought of their very existence had been a mutual feeling within each shinobi. This led to the creation of a formal union. Ninja representatives (Kages) from every District discussed and assigned missions. The Union also provided changes on how teams and organizations were formed, both integrating members from different villages to work under the same Umbrella. While Districts participated in the Union, they were hesitant to share their secrets, weaponry, and jutsu. They only offered up their strength in numbers, to ensure a steady flow of work. The Grass District had become the Unions center meeting place, supporting all Union related questions, organized missions, teams, and where all academy students resided.

"Hmph" A sigh melted in the air. The rock beneath the glowing fragmented man became hotter every few minutes. The intense bodily heat that Suzaku emitted was unbearable amongst the working class people, this innate ability only had an off switch when visiting the populated public. The inactive man had slothful attitude due to lack of work that he needed to complete. Suzuaku also avoided reading status updates on the effectiveness of behavioral health programs and how it's reducing recidivism, this only supported the claim that ninjutsu was not needed to fix the world's problems.

The thoughts that lingered in his head sounded reasonable and was just to protect the livelihood for shinobi, but he knew it could give off the wrong impression. As self centered as those thought Suzaku was, he was very aware of how others viewed him and depending who, he did it purposely. With no global threat, it was the Kages job to mold and create one. "If we reminded humans how much they needed shinobi, we could retrieve more military funding. We could create a stronger generation of shinobi. We can install the power of hardwork and not depend on technology..." Suzaku played around with the sales pitch in his head, but everything he said he knew would be perceived wrong; so he sat quietly on the Hokage monument staring blankly into the sky.

".........." A person spies on those who may have taken notice of the sudden disappearances; whether one could respond to it accordingly. Her presence was imperceptible as she remains observant within the shadows.

The world of shinobi was thrown into turmoil as shadows emerged from the darkness, launching relentless attacks on shinobi across various villages. These shadow assailants possessed an eerie and unknown power, leaving the shinobi community bewildered and on high alert. As the Mizukage and the skilled Mist shinobi celebrated their hard-fought victory against the shadow soldiers, their triumph was short-lived.

Reports of encounters with the shadow attackers began pouring in from different corners of the shinobi world. Shinobi from different villages exchanged information and pooled their resources to understand and combat this enigmatic threat, but all stories came to have no resolution on how to defeat the enemies.

In a devastating turn of events, the shadows swiftly reemerged, taking on a new form that defied comprehension. Instead of physical humanoid figures, they transformed into flat, 2-dimensional shapes, intertwining their chakra with the shadows cast by each person present.

This unexpected metamorphosis granted the shadow assailants complete control over the minds and bodies of their targets. With this newfound power, they sought to manipulate and dominate the very essence of their adversaries.

The momentary relief that filled the air turned into a tense battle for control as the shinobi realized the dire situation they were facing. The shadows' ability to manipulate thoughts and actions posed an unprecedented challenge.

As the shadows continued their relentless onslaught, the dire situation escalated further. A population of 30,000 people worldwide became the target of the shadows' relentless tactics, plunging the world into a state of fear and uncertainty.

The first wave of attacks struck with precision, targeting 2,000 individuals across the globe. Shockingly effective, the shadows managed to capture and transport 1,800 of their victims into the shadow world. With each successful abduction, the number of people remaining on Earth dwindled to 28,200.

However, the shadows were far from finished. The second wave of attacks brought a new and insidious method of infiltration. In this wave, approximately 13,000 people, including both shinobi and ordinary individuals, fell victim to the shadow's malevolent control.

The situation grew increasingly desperate as the shadows tightened their grip on the possessed. The only known way to sever the shadow's influence was to eliminate those who had been overtaken, but the method or means to accomplish this remained shrouded in uncertainty. The ethical implications of taking lives, even to save others, weighed heavily on the hearts and minds of the remaining unpossessed individuals.

The world was thrust into a struggle for survival as the shadows' numbers continued to swell, and the captured individuals became tools of the enemy. Shinobi and ordinary people alike faced the grim reality that the lives of the possessed were seemingly forfeit if they were to have any hope of breaking free from the shadow's control.

INVADING FORCE FROM THE SHADOWS - What's going on!?

As grief permeated the atmosphere, a sinister presence loomed. Yumaro of the Kaguya clan unleashed skeletal appendages, that emerged from the ground. These bony constructs swiftly ensnared the citizens who had fallen under the influence of the shadows' will. However, the jutsu devised by Yumaro temporarily delayed the possessed individuals' actions by a few precious seconds. With their previous hosts incapacitated, the shadows relinquished their hold and sought new vessels to inhabit. Their insidious nature drove them to search for susceptible individuals, seeking to propagate their influence and expand their dark grip over the populace.

The situation grew more dire as the shadows sought to corrupt and possess anew, persisting in their relentless pursuit of power. The citizens, trapped in a precarious state between freedom and subjugation, faced the constant threat of becoming vessels for the shadows' sinister intent.

In the face of this overwhelming darkness, the uncorrupted shinobi and those unaffected by the shadows' influence found themselves tasked with a formidable challenge. They would devise countermeasures, resist the allure of the shadows, and find a way to break their hold on the possessed citizens before the shadows could secure new hosts, simply by killing the ones they named comrades. The battle against the shadows became a race against time, as the uncorrupted shinobi fought to free their comrades and safeguard the innocent from the clutches of this evil force by murdering them. Their resilience and determination worked as the shadow's life force had ended along with their host.

Realizing the imminent threat, Mellow and Soma, empowered by their training and resolve, unleashed scorching flames that blazed with an intensity capable of obliterating the shadows from the bodies of their human hosts. However, such powerful flames came at a cost. The victims, now freed from the shadows, suffered from severe third-degree burns, bearing the physical consequences of the intense heat unleashed upon them.

In the aftermath of this ordeal, a profound question lingered in the minds of those involved. The moral implications of the shinobi way were brought into sharp focus. Were the sacrifice of innocent lives and collateral damage justified in the pursuit of defeating such malevolent forces? It was a dilemma that forced introspection and contemplation upon the shinobi, challenging their beliefs and calling into question the inherent nature of their path.

In the face of this moral quandary, the shinobi community would need to reflect, reassess their methods, and seek ways to minimize harm while still protecting the innocent. It would be a test of their resolve and their ability to adapt, as they strived to find a delicate balance between fulfilling their duty as defenders and preserving the lives and well-being of those they swore to protect.

As the shadows proved immune to genjutsu, much like the Aburame's Kikaichū beetles, a different approach was required to break their hold. The Mizukage, utilizing their immense skill, created a brilliant illumination that pierced through the darkness. This radiant light acted as a catalyst, freeing both the shinobi and the citizens from the insidious control of the shadows.

However, the shadows, feeling their grip on their victims slipping away, resorted to a desperate measure. They merged together, forming a colossal entity that mirrored the size of a tailed beast. This formidable being was a manifestation of their combined power, a last-ditch effort to regain control and continue their reign of darkness.

maxresdefault.jpg

As dedicated news reporters took to the skies, their mission was to provide real-time coverage of the unfolding events across the globe. Among the chaotic scenes captured, one particular moment stood out—the collaborative attack against the young pupil and daughter of Isamu.

Amidst the chaos and destruction, the reporters witnessed the immense power and devastation unleashed by the shinobi. The footage focused on the dramatic clash, showcasing the intense battle between Isamu's daughter and her fellow shinobi. The reporter, overwhelmed by the violence and its impact on innocent lives, posed a poignant question to the viewers: "Shinobi are killing innocent people. What is going on?"

This question reverberated through the airwaves, stirring a collective sense of confusion, concern, and outrage among the global audience. The footage showed the children, caught in the crossfire, desperately trying to escape the relentless onslaught. It captured the stark contrast between the ideals of protection and the unintended consequences of their actions.

The reporter's query echoed the sentiments of many who watched the events unfold. It raised important ethical considerations and challenged the traditional perception of shinobi as defenders of peace and justice. The conflicting images of destruction and the young lives affected prompted a critical examination of the underlying motivations and consequences of their actions.

In the wake of this public scrutiny, the shinobi community would need to confront these issues head-on, reevaluate their methods, and find ways to minimize the loss of innocent lives. The responsibility to maintain the delicate balance between protection and collateral damage would become even more paramount, as the world watched and demanded answers.

Komatoo

Genin
So much pain… So much death… one can only guess that this is just the beginning. A precursor to far more dire tribulations, higher stakes, and world altering disasters. What’s a better team? A single Samurai and a Shinobi at the forefront of this chaos. Komato and Yumaro, an unlikely team up, both warriors of their respective lands. Unique, and the very village hidden in the leaves can only hope that their differences and skill set is enough to save both the inhabitants and with others, the Shinobi world.

Komato stands at the very edge, amongst a massive cliff, a historical monument that bears the faces of every ninja that has achieved the status of Hokage. Overlooking the village, ideas cross through his mind, none of which seemed to pose a favorable outcome. There will be sacrifices. There will be death… For whom does the bell’s toll? Komato maintains a soft grip on the handle of his sword.

His eyes lower to the masterpiece that is his weapon. The very legacy of his family. All of his teachings, and lethal skills he will have to relinquish temporarily in order to preserve the lives here.

To not kill in battle, is to bring dishonor among this family and all Samurai. More importantly… your blade…” The voice of his grandfather echoes in his head…

How long has it been since this sword has tasted the concoction of blood? So much time spent leading, and teaching. His own swords yearn for true combat. A true victor. However, Komato must ignore these temptations of his past, as he had always done since the death of his own family, by his own hands. He must protect the wishes of the Shinobi. Raising his gaze, his attention travels to his partner on this expedition, Yumaro.

I know very little of your skills and tactics. Bring only a Samurai I can utilize my speed and precision, I can get up close and deal a blow to render each captive unconscious. However, it’ll be in our best interest to quarantine the village and secure the office below us as a means of bringing those not under the influence to this safe haven.

If Yumaro had anything to add, or perhaps an alternative, he is all ears. Komato believed this would be the best course of action nonetheless.

Currently, prior actions have placed the Shinobi in a bad light. It will be increasingly difficult to persuade the villagers to leave their homes.”

Yumaro, bearing proud lineage of Hoshigaki and Kaguya, sported a cascade of long, white-maned hair that veiled his visage. Within his mind a ceaseless dance of thoughts unfurled, waltz of theories and potential revelations. Each notion wove a tapestry of contemplation, weaving intricate threads of conjecture and resolution alike. As the zephyr tenderly caressed his countenance, an rift appeared amidst his silken hair and through the fissue, his gaze upon the village below. A fleeting glimpse of life's mosaic, and with finesse he used both his hands - left and right - as conductors, parting the curtain of hair with delicacy. And then like a sage entwined with the wind of time, Yumaro addressed his partnering Samurai, an echo from the past fused with the present.

"Reverbrations of shinobi errors have eroded trust, a fact we cannot deny. Our actions must be surgical and exact - apprehending or knocking out any ensured by the influence of the enemy. Opting for termination is the path of least resistance; let us not yield to that temptation. Else, we might find ourselves with the aftermath of vigilantes and even graver outcomes."

Yumaro's gaze swept across the world beyond and occupants within the Hokage mansion, after some contemplation he chose to resume conversation.

" The nuances of y abilities elude easy explanation; suffice it to say, I stand as an unparalleled force. My physical prowess knows few equals and holds boundless potential. Perhaps a more practical understanding will emerge as we proceed?"
Yumaro proposed, springing to the ground before making his way towards the entrance of the Hokage mansion.

INVADING FORCE FROM THE SHADOWS - What's going on!?
1680453678111-png.2969

In the heart of the battle, a tense standoff unfolded between the formidable figures of Samurai General Komato and the enigmatic Yumaro of the Mist District. Yet, their positioning was far from accidental, for encircling them were controlled shinobi, pawns in this perilous game. Among these manipulated warriors stood Enzo Uchiha and Hino Hyuuga, each representing the legendary bloodlines of the Leaf Village – the Uchiha and the Hyuuga.

With a determined resolve etched upon their faces, Enzo and Hino activated their dojutsu, their eyes ablaze with the potent energies that ran deep within their heritage. Enzo, bearing the Uchiha's Sharingan, deftly wove the intricate hand seals, channeling his chakra with focused intent. His lungs filled with air, and as he exhaled, the very atmosphere ignited into a searing inferno. A torrent of flames surged forth, a blazing torrent that rivaled the fury of an elemental force. The intensity of his fire was such that even steel would bow before its relentless heat, threatening to melt it into submission.

The wall of fire cascaded forward, an unrelenting onslaught aimed at consuming all in its path, be they samurai or shinobi. Its ferocity seemed unparalleled, as if the very essence of nature had bowed to Enzo's command. The flames roared with an infernal might, and the heat radiated with an intensity that could wither all in its wake.

Amidst this tempest of fire, Hino Hyuuga remained poised, his Byakugan eyes honed to perfection. Every detail, every movement was laid bare before his vision. With meticulous precision, he monitored the intricate dance between Komato and Yumaro, keenly observing any subtle shifts that might betray their strategies. His presence was an unyielding pillar of vigilance, ready to adapt and react to the unfolding tactics of his adversaries.

The battle hung in a precarious balance, the mastery of fire against the grace of perception. Enzo's flames surged with a fierce intensity, their all-consuming nature threatening to overwhelm all in their path. Yet, Hino's watchful gaze held the power to decipher the secrets of the combatants, potentially unraveling the puzzle that could render the fiery assault null and void.

Amidst the clash of abilities and wills, the outcome of this confrontation remained shrouded in uncertainty. The battlefield crackled with the tension of imminent resolution, as the Uchiha and Hyuuga stood as sentinels of power, their actions poised to reshape the course of the battle that raged around them.

LEGENDARY
Yumaro's swift pace came to a halt, his feet firmly planted on the concrete surface. He wasn't blindly rushing into the lion's den; being a descendant of both the Hoshigaki and Kaguya clans, he was a highly intelligent and capable shinobi. His hybrid nature, a blend of human and exceptional lineage, had earned him a commendable reputation. Thus, he found himself assigned to the Leaf District, burdened by the responsibility this entailed. As Yumaro paused, his long strands of white hair followed suit, his hunter-ninja instincts acutely attuned to his surroundings. His mind was keenly aware of the imminent threat. Encircling him were shinobi who weren't part of the allied forces, leaving little room for speculation. Yumaro settled on a practical theory: these individuals had fallen victim to an otherworldly menace. Though he concealed it well, frustration simmered within him, directed at these individuals who had allowed themselves to be weakened.

"Are you shinobi not ashamed of your inadequacies? How could you allow such a thing to overpower your pride? I had assumed the Leaf Village boasted more respectable shinobi."

His words carried a rhetorical question, laden with disappointment, resentment, and reproach. Throughout his speech, his surveillance of the area never wavered; his senses attuned to every living being with a skeletal structure, and those molding chakra within his detection range.

"I refuse to succumb to any threat. I will pass through this assembly of disappointments effortlessly. You've proven to be a nuisance to the very land you vowed to safeguard, tarnishing the name of shinobi. It's imperative you regain control before an outsider like me must come to your rescue. Who will then hold Konohagakure in esteem?"

Yumaro's frustration towards the dire threat gripping the shinobi world was palpable. Thus, he resolved to take action in the only way he knew – by achieving results. With closed eyes, he visualized the outcome he aimed to achieve.
8UMm.gif

Yumaro's eyes snapped open, revealing a sky shrouded in darkness, dominated by a fierce inferno that appeared poised to engulf not only him but also his samurai companion, Komato. Judging from his own ground-level vantage point and taking into account Komato's elevated position atop the Hokage's rock, it was evident that the onslaught before them was a massive torrent of fire, a display of significant chakra expenditure expertly controlled. This shinobi was undeniably skilled. However, Yumaro maintained his resolve, addressing the looming threat of obliteration.

"I've lived amongst the black hot pressures of deep sea volcanic veins. Your juvenile flames play of mean nothing to me."
natsu-dragneel-is-on-fire.gif

While Yumaro continued to speak, his chakra manipulation began in earnest, its flow so refined that even the most skilled sensor shinobi would find it almost impossible to detect, and even the more advanced ones would struggle to ascertain. As the encroaching flames seemed poised to engulf him entirely, a chillingly sinister grin slowly spread across his face, unveiling a multitude of spiky, angular teeth— an eerie fusion of bone, flesh, and blood. With this unsettling smile, an unholy wave of killing intent, unlike anything terrestrial shinobi had ever experienced, radiated outward. This malevolent aura threatened to consume them, even within the shroud of shadows that had enveloped the area. The shadows now realized their grievous error in targeting the King of the Dead Sea.

Though any perceptive instincts may have been screaming, correctly identifying the monumental threat Yumaro posed, escape was no longer a viable option. The apex predator had been alerted to their presence, and their fate was sealed.

The flames had closed in, engulfing both Yumaro's vicinity and that of his presumed samurai companion. Whether the samurai would survive or not was a concern for later; Yumaro assumed his ally would endure and positioned himself at a distance to either observe the aftermath or undertake the task of rescuing the villagers. Emerging from the explosion of fire and ash was the sea-bound titan, apparently unharmed. Glimmers of white, bone-like scales reflected the light off his form, evidence of his resilience. With an unconventional sensory approach, Yumaro tracked the movements of his adversaries, attuned to the subtle shifts and flexes of their skeletal structures. Descending towards the shinobi who had attempted to incinerate him, he advanced deliberately. It became apparent that Yumaro's durability surpassed that of steel, placing him in a league of his own. These once-predators had been transformed into unwitting bait. Each step he took seemed to radiate energy and vitality into the surroundings, his bloodlust intensifying as he drew closer.

He cracked his neck, the sound echoing like a prelude to his approach. His stride unyielding, Yumaro continued his approach, his very bones resonating with anticipation, yearning for the embrace of the sea.

"I offer you otherworldly beings a solitary choice: swiftly vacate the hosts you've ensnared or face utter obliteration" Yumaro's voice resonated with a chilling resolve.

Experience triumphs Talent

" Reverberations of shinobi errors have eroded trust, a fact we cannot deny. Our actions must be surgical and exact - apprehending or knocking out any ensured by the influence of the enemy. Opting for termination is the path of least resistance; let us not yield to that temptation. Else, we might find ourselves with the aftermath of vigilantes and even graver outcomes."

The Samurai nods, acknowledging his comrade's comprehension of their current predicament. Still, these unknown forces have the potential to control even the most skilled of ninja or even Samurai. Straying away from the killing blow will prove to be a difficult task in itself since the enemy will stop at nothing to either take control or simply resort to killing. Without the full potential of one's abilities, can the world’s last protectors fend off this threat?

" The nuances of my abilities elude easy explanation; suffice it to say, I stand as an unparalleled force. My physical prowess knows few equals and holds boundless potential. Perhaps a more practical understanding will emerge as we proceed?"

A response he had expected to hear, and one that promotes the idea of hopefully sparring with this individual as a way to test his own skills. From where Komato stands, Yumaro is simply not just a ninja, he is far more. Greater than what many may have claimed him to be. Komato could see his uniqueness, it was as plain as day to him. Komato is all for seeing the man's skills and abilities in action, though he would rather be on the receiving end of such prowess than as the spectator.

Nonetheless, Yumaro wasted little time in his advancement toward the lower levels of the Hidden Leaf Village, and with little to no effort whatsoever, Komato moves in tandem at his side, casually keeping pace. Both near their destination, however, what lies ahead of them surely will occupy their time. Two Bloodlines, both respective in their own right, hailing from the vast history of the Leaf Village. The Uchiha, and The Hyuuga. Warriors Komato never thought he would have the privilege of facing. Truly a test of his skill and control, yet unfortunately he must hold back against both combatants.

Neither adversaries do anything to conceal their presence, both the senses of Komato and Yumaro work to their own advantage, able to pinpoint the chakra signatures of both. Though such knowledge did not seem to matter in the slightest, each opponent awaken their Dojutsu. The Sharingan, and The Byakugan. Each is powerful in its own right, and capable of dismantling a horde of opponents. Unfortunately for them, they face the world's greatest of all Samurai and a Shinobi’s potential who seems to know no bounds, a hybrid of both Hoshigaki and Kaguya lineage. Despite the earnings of such titles, be it by blood or years of training, the shadows that possessed the Uchiha and Hyuuga cared little. The Uchiha prepares first, weaving significant hand seals in order to perform his Clans signature jutsu, an inferno hurling its way toward both Komato and Yumaro. Its heat ravaged the air around, scorching the very earth beneath. Lesser opponents would be caught in awe of its spectacular strength and size, frozen in fear of being engulfed and utterly decimated, but not these two. Yumaro having already voiced his disgust and frustration with these two warriors, has gone to unleash his killer instinct and aims to take the very brunt of the jutsu head-on, while Komato remains calm, relaxed, and collected.

Again, with seemingly no effort at all, Komato had moved, but the speed he displayed earlier to keep up with Yumaro could not even begin to hold a candle to what he displays now. Nearly light years away in terms of level, Komato’s movement released no sound and dared not to disrupt the air around him or the ground beneath his feet. As he avoids the brutality of the Uchiha's attack, the Hyuuga’s own visual prowess is tested, and while it may have the ability to see the flow of chakra, and seemingly have no blind spots, how will the body react against the otherworldly speed of the Samurai? Perhaps the Byakugan would serve the Hyuuga in time to catch a blunt object approaching the back of his neck at speeds faster than what Komato had only displayed in his movement... With such precision and focus, the attack is meant to quickly incapacitate the Hyuuga in a swift manner. Komato did not wish to drag this fight out at all, making it imperative that he ends this skirmish ends in less than a second.
