Tenbo emerged from the shadows alongside Mugen, the duo stepping into the dimly lit alleyways of Konohagakure. In stealthy transit toward the Hokage's office, Tenbo moved with the finesse of a phantom, his every maneuver executed with an artful precision that left him undetected by any watchful eyes. Continuing his journey, he advanced through a desolate and seldom-visited region, far removed from the usual paths of civilians and shinobi. This strategic choice provided a secure opportunity to reemerge, strategically allowing Tenbo and Mugen to arise. The Hokage office lay in the same direction as Mirai's estate, where Mujin might be concealed. Given Mujin's penchant for operating covertly, locating him typically posed a challenge. Nevertheless, in this moment, Tenbo resolved to pay another visit to his elusive brother. And soon the two would once more reconvene.

Mirai/Mujin Residence
Mirai_Residence.png

The main residence of Mirai Uchiha, and Mujin Uchiha. It is located on the outskirts of the Uchiha District, serving as both a marker for the end of the district and a warning to both sides that the Uchiha Lord watches both,

The residence has been in Mirai's family for several generations.

It consists of two buildings: a residential and a dojo.

Residential Building:
The residential building consists of two floors. The front door leads to a small entranceway which leads to a corridor. Straight ahead of the entranceway are the stairs to the second floor. The corridor continues to the left, where it leads to a porch on the left side and a Japanese-style room on the right side. Meanwhile, straight ahead of the entranceway and past the stairs, the corridor leads to a joint kitchen and living room to the right. The corridor continues to the left from here, leading to a water closet room, washroom and a bathroom, as well as connecting to the Japanese-style room from the opposite side.

After climbing the stairs to the second floor, two spare bedrooms are directly located to the left; one being Mirai's old room, and the other being Mugen Uchiha's old room. Taking a right leads to Mirai and Mujin's current room (the master bedroom). Directly across from the stairs is a door that leads to a balcony that overlooks the backyard.

The Backyard holds a small pond with koi fish, and a fruitful garden filled with numerous flowers to attract butterflies and bees.

Dojo:
The Dojo keeps traditional norms, with a small shrine at the head of it that primarily honors Mirai's ancestors. There is a small addition that also honors Mujin's ancestors. Interestingly, a seal that conceals all conversation within the dojo is displayed proudly at the head of the dojo, hinting that this may be the primary location of Mirai and Mujin's most confidential conversations.

Stepping from the Tunnels concealed by shadows beside Tenbo, Mugen who typically is adorned by a Hyakkoto Mask for once was not, his natural appearance now visible as it was during his search for Shinsuke Uzumaki. Standing beside his Mentor, the two together would merely resemble a master and student on a stroll together, or rather Two Uchiha's on a stroll together, though the only oddity is them being in an alley way; which could easily be dismissed as both tended to avoid general citizen contact. Though Mugen's eyes glowed in the darkness that was this alley, his memory also told him that the path they took would pass by the Estate of his "Sister" Mirai and her betrothed Mujin. And though Mugen followed Behind Tenbo, as if like a lost puppy to some, his stoic and calm expression was concerned with the constantly active Three Tomoe Sharingan as it almost gave a menacing disposition. Though this was natural for Mugen who under the Training with Tenbo and Mujin allowing him to keep them active without strain on his chakra that is until his eyes reach the next stage of evolution later down the line. But in this current situation he continued to to follow Tenbo through the unused alleys, but searching for what was beyond Mugens knowledge as he could not see into the mind of his Superior...

" Hnn.... "

Was all that Mujin could muster in his low gravel tone of voice. His left hand found the back of his head as he scratched at an invisible itch. He stood atop the water between the falls of the valley for a while after everyone had scattered away. His right hand would move to his chin as his left found his pants pocket. He would stare out across the water, his reflection a shadow like mirror on the water; all darker versions of the real thing except for his red refracting eyes. There in the solitude of silence and being truly alone; Mujin would sigh. " You try and be of help and the Uchiha only ever see competition. You can't help us without harming someone else, It's our way of life. " As if talking to his own reflection on the water he found his sharingan now peering at his own eyes, laughing in his head about a concept he had started to come up with ever since Matatabi.

Mujin would stare into the red refracting light of the waters surface; before placing a single seal into the air and a cloud of smoke showed through to reveal the Sword of the Thunder God. Once again preparing himself to assimilate into lightning and head back home. He took his eyes off his reflection and looked towards the Leaf District. " I hate who we are. " He would then vanish with a crash of thunder as Lightning biologically flickered around his body. Minor impact cracks and broken branches were left at his wake. As he traveled he would alternate and stop just briefly to activate a sensory skill and felt out the presence of two Uchiha he needed to speak with, or at least be spoken too by. At first it was a little off because it seemed Tenbo was.. flickering.. Mujin was confused at why he came to that description of Tenbo's Chakra signature. However Mugen was always a little easier to locate, as Mujin had placed a Genjutsu on the Uchiha in his youth and there was always a little bit of Mujin's chakra there. Changing course only slightly Mujin was swiftly on track to intercept them.

In front of Mugen and Tenbo their ears would be met with a familiar technique as Mujin appeared standing in the alleyway they both were walking down. The flash of lightning dissipated when Mujin resealed his Thunder Blade into his sleeves. Turning to look at the two Uchiha, Mujin's sharingan would spin slightly. Hoping on a whim, the Mugen had looked into either the reflection of Mujin's eyes in the sword as he was making it disappear or into Mujin's eyes directly as he turned to greet Tenbo and Mugen respectively.

" Tenbo, Mugen, My family how are you. " Mujin said with his traditionally low tone of voice. His eyes never closed, they never opened in exasperation. Mujin was known for always having a stoic and resting expression that really left you wondering what his mood was. The only tell was if he was smirking his scar would tighten up, giving him a sinister sneer. No one ever get's to see that side of Mujin however.

If Mugen had looked into the sharingan of Mujin at either rate, Mujin would exam the Genjutsu seals implanted on Mugen's mind. The entire process would only take, and was over in a fraction of a breath. Mujin wasn't intruding on his mental state, he was simply examining it to see how it was holding up. Without changing his tone of voice, no matter the result of this examination if it occurred Mujin would place his hands on either brother's shoulder individually and then bow to them respectively.

" I would say I've heard you both've been busy... But I haven't heard from you both in weeks. It saddens me that you two are the last ones I have invitations to give too, for Mirai and I's Wedding. " Mujin grumbled before reaching into his pockets and handing them each a black parchment card with red letters and the Uchiha symbol on it. Awaiting them to take it out of his hand Mujin would look over to Tenbo trying to examine what was up with him.

The Land of Tea

A crash of heat and then nothing. Solitude, the sounds of nature and the wilderness around Taichi. He was confused, lost, sad, angry, all at once. He had no idea if his mother or father were alive or dead, the state of his home, he knew nothing. In the heart of the Tea District, where the aroma of freshly brewed tea leaves hung in the air, Taichi found himself in an unexpected yet strangely serene setting. The tranquility of the landscape contrasted sharply with the chaos within him. He stood there, surrounded by the lush greenery of the tea plantations, a Chunin who had embarked on a journey of self-discovery.

The first rays of dawn painted the sky in hues of gold, casting a warm glow on the young ninja. He closed his eyes, letting the gentle breeze carry the fragrant notes of tea. It was in this quietude that he sought to forge a deeper connection with his Tailed Beast, Son-Goku. The churning emotions within him began to settle, replaced by a newfound focus.

As Taichi breathed in the crisp air, he felt a subtle shift. The unmistakable heat of Son-Goku's chakra stirred within him, a reassuring presence that anchored him to the moment. It was as though the Tailed Beast itself was encouraging Taichi to embrace the challenges ahead. This realization became the catalyst for the young Chunin to take charge of his destiny.

The Tea District became his training ground, a canvas for him to paint his story. Taichi engaged in Taijutsu exercises, feeling the earth beneath him and allowing the natural energy to flow. His movements were fluid, a dance that echoed the rustling of tea leaves in the breeze. Amidst the tranquility, Taichi tested his control over his chakra, attempting to harmonize it with Son-Goku's fiery essence.

Through trial and error, Taichi discovered the nuances of his Tailed Beast's chakra. It was a process of understanding, a silent conversation between human and beast. The serene landscape bore witness to this unique communion, the tea plantations standing as silent sentinels to Taichi's journey of self-discovery. In the hush of the Tea District, Taichi found solace. He embraced the challenges, not as obstacles but as opportunities to strengthen the bond with Son-Goku. The daunting feeling of the unknown transformed into a sense of purpose. The young Chunin, amidst the tea-scented air and the warmth of Son-Goku's chakra, was on a journey not just across lands but within himself.

The Mushroom District

As Taichi ventured into the whimsical expanse of the Mushroom District, the air became thick with the earthy aroma of fungi. Towering mushrooms, some as tall as buildings, created a surreal landscape around him. It was a realm where reality and fantasy merged seamlessly, providing an ideal backdrop for the next phase of his training – the art of internal communication with Son-Goku.

The mushroom caps stretched above, casting dappled shadows on the forest floor. With each step, Taichi felt the unique energy of this district, a place where nature and chakra seemed to intertwine effortlessly. Here, he aimed to delve deeper into the connection with his Tailed Beast, seeking not just a channel of chakra but a pathway to mutual understanding. Sitting in the midst of the mushroom forest, Taichi closed his eyes and focused inward. His breath synchronized with the gentle rustling of the fungal giants around him. The essence of Son-Goku's chakra, a fiery warmth within him, served as the anchor for this internal exploration. The Mushroom District's peculiar energy acted as a catalyst, amplifying his attempts to establish a more profound connection.

In this mystical environment, Taichi initiated a mental dialogue with Son-Goku. It was more than the usual surface-level communication; he aimed for a genuine conversation. Thoughts and emotions flowed freely between them, transcending the limitations of language. Through the shared consciousness, Taichi glimpsed the essence of Son-Goku's nature – a fierce yet benevolent force, a reflection of the flames that danced within the Tailed Beast. The Mushroom District enveloped Taichi in its otherworldly ambiance, and as he sat amidst the towering fungi, he closed his eyes, centering his focus on Son-Goku's chakra within. A warm resonance echoed, and the mental space between Taichi and his Tailed Beast flickered into existence.

"Hey, Son-Goku, you there?"
(A deep, resonant voice) "Always here, little one. What brings you into the depths of our mindscape?"
"Just felt like chatting, you know? We're partners, but I reckon there's more to us than just fighting together."
(Amused) Humans and their need for words. Nevertheless, I am open to this exchange."
"So, what's it like being a Tailed Beast? Must be wild being a mass of chakra and all."
Existence is different for us. We are bound to this realm, yet our essence transcends it. The eons pass differently, and every encounter shapes our consciousness."
"(Nodding) Yeah, you've been around for a long time, huh? What's the most memorable thing you've seen?"
(A reflective pause) The rise and fall of civilizations, the dance of shinobi across generations. Your world is one of perpetual change. Yet, there is a constant – the struggle for balance."
" (Thoughtful) You mean like maintaining the balance between us, right? We fight together, but I want us to understand each other, too."
The harmony you seek is noble. It echoes the philosophy of those who came before. To understand is to forge a bond that withstands the tests of time."
"Speaking of time, what's your take on the future? We're living in a world shaped by the past, but what about what's next?"
The future is an unwritten scroll. Your actions, the choices you make, will inscribe its pages. You, Taichi, are a scribe in the grand tale of existence."
"(Smirking) A scribe, huh? Never thought of it that way. I guess that makes you the legendary tale I get to live."
(Chuckling) Legends and tales, ephemeral yet impactful. Your journey, young one, is but a verse in the chronicles of time."

Their mental exchange continued, a dance of words and thoughts beneath the towering mushrooms. Taichi found solace in these conversations, realizing that understanding Son-Goku meant unraveling the intricate threads of the past, present, and the unwritten future.

The Fire District

Approaching the boarders of the Fire District, Taichi had no idea what to say or do. He would walk up to the Shinobi guarding the boarder and await for them to say something to him. They would first stare in confusion as someone wearing the Stone Districts headband would be walking in from a direction without their knowledge at all. Taichi would then speak up.

"My Father is the Kage of the Stone District, i need to get to word Hokage's office as fast as possible. My father had sent me to the Tea District. I think the Stone District is under attack, that's the only reason he would of sent me away. "

Taichi as he was explaining this would take his chunin exam paper work out to verify his identity to these Leaf Shinobi so they could assist him on his way.

"I'm well," Tenbo affirmed, his response a straightforward acknowledgment of the familiar voice. The arrival of Mujin was a welcome occurrence, sparing Tenbo the effort of seeking out his elusive brother. Despite the apparent nonchalance displayed externally, Tenbo recognized the unwise nature of Mujin's words, especially when it came to discussing Mugen. While Tenbo appeared unperturbed, he was acutely aware that such casual conversation carried the risk of exposure, and any potential ramifications would likely affect Mujin more than himself. As Tenbo continued to listen to Mujin after his initial response, the mention of Mirai and Mujin's commitment to an enduring relationship sparked irritation within him. Although he concealed this inner turmoil from external observation, internally, disbelief simmered beneath the surface. "Opting to align yourself with...," a knot tightened within Tenbo's chest, the faith he once held in his own brother shrinking to the size of a mere mustard seed. The message conveyed was unwelcome, both in terms of the news itself and the extended invitation. Despite his love for his brother, Tenbo couldn't find respect for this decision, as Mirai's beliefs and values stood in direct opposition to Tenbo's own ideology. He pressed on, "Can you not perceive?" Tenbo inquired, his unique perspective on the shinobi world well-known to Mujin. It was a viewpoint shared with Mugen, and the proposition of marriage to Mirai completely betrayed the principles the commander stood for. While his facial expressions remained concealed, the same could not be said for the tone that accompanied his words. "A fool willingly binds himself to chains," he exclaimed with conviction.

Mugen Uchiha.jpg

As Mugen followed Behind Tenbo, A flash of Lightning reverberated the alley with Light and sound of the echoing Vibrations in the air; as the sudden appearance of Mujin became known. Mugen remaining silent as his eyes avert away from Mujin it wasn't until Mujin saying " Tenbo, Mugen, My family how are you?" That that same white noise stricken the deepest part of Mugens mind. Being referred to as family was something he was never called and yet seemed unnaturally familiar. His left hand quickly grabbing ahold of his head, between his ring and pinky his eyes glowed with such intensity as more fragmented memories began revealing themselves. The Same Images of a Young Mugen with a younger Mirai Uchiha seemingly training before it began cracking and shifting to show two silhouetted boys training with Mugen. Escaping his lips was a sound of pain as he stumbled back, his back against the wall as the world around him began slowing itself down. Yet with no scream his expression though was one of utter pain, far beyond having his arm sliced cleanly off by Tenbo. These Memories of him with Mirai slowly shifting to two unknown boys a voice spoke out, one which resembled a younger equivalent of Mugens self,
"You Must remember them... How could you forget who you really are... Who we really are..."
And as Mugen pressed against the wa;;, his eyes slowly averting with a pained expression towards both Tenbo and Mujin; his gaze directly meeting theirs as beads of sweat began running down his forehead...

Mujin listened to Tenbo as his eyes for all of that single second the his Sharingan made contact with Mugen;; Mujin knew that Mugen's mental state was in dire need of reinforcement. Mujin again made the audible sound 'Hnn...' as Tenbo went on, paraphrasing what he was really trying to say in bursts of short and half sentences. As Tenbo spoke, the young Uchiha known as Mugen decided to hold eye contact with Mujin. This kind of technique was second nature to Mujin, his bread and butter. Given the extra time, Mujin rapidly set another several layers of Sharingan Genjutsu upon his original genjutsu cast years prior. The memories Mugen thought were coming back and returning causing him confusion and mental anguish soon cleared up. The mental 'fog' would become crystal clear. However it wouldn't be correct. Aspects of the truth blurred and were still a mystery, the two boys he thought he saw were now his Uchiha cousins, at a birthday celebration for Mirai.

Mujin would look over to Tenbo after he finished blurting out his opinions on the matter.

"Tenbo... Look... Not in the history of forever has the Uchiha clan had a decent set of leaders. I know you and how you think long term, so let me handle the short term. Whatever happens in this world, as chaotic and random as it is. Our clan has a history of falling into a cycle of violence, dystopian and cruel with no real goal other than complete blind control. " Mujin would pause as he looked at his brother Tenbo. " Ironic eh? Uchiha renowned for their ability to see, being so damn blind. Hnn... " That last sound again, was it a hiss? a thoughtful pondering tick? It was new, and Mujin used it almost to sooth his thinking.

Looking over to the faces of the Leaf Villages Kage then sigh deeply before pulling out a cigarette and a matchbook. Plucking a match stick out, Mujin scratched it against the book and it burst into flame. Wafting it over the cigarette he placed in his mouth he inhaled a large flare lightning the edges of Mujin's face. He blew the cloud out into the air obscuring their faces from view. before looking over to Tenbo without turning his body.

" Tenbo whatever you're doing I trust you; But I also trust in Mirai's vision of the Uchiha. So don't make me pick between the two. I don't think either of you would like the answer. " Mujin would scoot to face the two Uchiha once more. His memories flashing back to a time when they took a vacation to the Hidden Mist District for as a treat for graduating to Jonin Rank.

" So, you will come to my wedding as my best man and you will pretend to be happy. Because I am your brother and you know the things i do to keep this clan functioning go beyond a loyalty seldom will ever know. Also, because it's me asking you.
Tenbo you Fool. "

Mujin would smack Tenbo on the forehead playfully with his middle and index finger. Muscle memory from when they were children. Then smile his sneer like grin before continuing. " Now is there anything important we need to discuss? "

After a prolonged conversation with the head of Intelligence of Anbu Black Ops, Shijo’s mind still was not at ease. He seemingly carried the weight of a clan on his shoulder. The enigma of Tenbo Uchiha lingered with his mind, yet his thoughts weren’t laden to just him but the whole landscape which was the village. Suddenly whilst walking away from the hospital the Uchiha began to think of two options. Firstly, was to confront his sensei who he knew was the biological brother of Tenbo Uchiha or to go see Mirai. Of course, Mirai would not fall victim to his disrespectful slander much like she did moments earlier. Shijo was not even someone who apologised for his actions or even his words. He wondered to himself with both his hands neatly tucked within his pockets, looking towards the sky whilst taking in the fresh air of the Leaf District. Stricken by the lightrays which pinged down upon his silhouette which carried a great mystery itself. His thoughts comprehensively captivated only one answer and that was Mirai Uchiha.

“Where exactly would she be?” He questioned whilst he tracked through sensory input even for the faintest chakra signal of the Uchiha Lady. It was easy for someone like Shijo to capture a signature of chakra, especially one that he had felt before. Whilst feeling for the chakra of Mirai he could even feel the chakra of his master who was not even far from his location. However, his signature stood directly around two other foreign chakra which were easily as impressive as Mujin’s chakra. It was a matter of time before he felt the signature he needed with pinpoint accuracy he could feel the rather faint chakra signature of Mirai Uchiha at the Gates of the Leaf.

“There she is, I wonder what will be her reaction to me coming?” With a beaming display of speed the Uchiha flickered across the surface of the leaf towards the Gates in what seemed to be the blink of an eye. There he would stand face to face with Mirai who stood there, at this time both Uchiha eyes would probably meet. It was not like Shijo was looking for a fight, he was perplexed by the Uchiha clan and the only person who could give him answers was the Uchiha lady herself. His eyes gazed at her beautiful stature, as he welcomed her acknowledgement without deaf ears. The question was in fact what was going to be the outcome of this fateful meeting of the two. Only one thing was for sure that both of them remained a bit of a distance from each other.

LEGENDARY
Tenbo_close_eye_2.png

"A fool willingly binds himself to chains...," he uttered, his words slicing through the air with a dry, cutting tone. Each syllable was a rejection of the seemingly rational thoughts Mujin had presented. To Tenbo, those words symbolized the imposition of order, a concept revered by him as the leader of Root. However, on a personal level, it stirred a revolt within him, twisting his stomach into knots. Tenbo's hand instinctively reached for his abdomen as he removed his hat, revealing his face to his brothers. The disappointment etched on his visage was palpable. Unlike many Uchiha, Tenbo was not one to flaunt his Sharingan, especially not in the ostentatious manner of Mujin and Mugen. His eyes remained mostly closed, even in the face of formidable opponents like the Daikaiju. However, the unveiling of his matured three-tomoe Sharingan now served as a vivid manifestation of his disapproval towards the intertwining relationship between Mirai and Mugen. His ocular display was not a mere warning; it was a proclamation of defiance against the bonds tying Mirai and Mujin, painted across the canvas of his disappointed expression.

In the midst of his counterargument, Tenbo's keen awareness detected a resurgence in the fortified defenses within Mugen's mind, a bulwark reinforced by Mujin. It signaled a heightened level of security, perhaps shielding memories that Mugen was not meant to recall. Tenbo recognized that the time for Mugen to remember might never come, given Mujin's firm control over that aspect of their shared past. The childhood laid bare before Mugen might forever remain shrouded. Tenbo, however, had no intention of intervening in this intricate mental engagement. It held no bearing on his objectives, and whether Mugen recollected his past or not mattered little to Tenbo. In fact, Mugen succumbing to the constraints of his current life played into Tenbo's plans seamlessly. Regardless of any potential personal gain, the choice to break free from this predetermined destiny or remain subjected to it rested squarely on Mugen's shoulders.

Following a measured pause, Tenbo resumed his dialogue with Mujin. "The Uchiha have never been true visionaries," he scoffed with a tinge of irritation. "Most Uchiha, burdened by our unique eyes, are merely children exposed to heartache, stumbling upon a miraculous power. That's not genuine sight; it's a consequence of existence. I choose not to flaunt my Sharingan because my lineage doesn't define me; my character does." A brief halt punctuated his words as Tenbo weighed the option of disengaging from the discussion. Yet, the bond of brotherhood and the complexity of their relationship with Mujin compelled him to continue. "I don't share the same sentiment for the clan as you do. Mirai is its head, Mujin, and I view my childhood friend as an ally of the Leaf. However, you, my brother, hold a different place in my considerations, and the choices will always be yours ." His words were deliberate, expressing a mix of conviction and introspection. Tenbo's eyes, revealed a glimpse of the intensity underlying his words, emphasizing the personal philosophy that separated him from the conventional Uchiha mindset. He still felt the pressure upon his forehead by Mujin recently pressing upon his forehead with his fingers. "While I shall be present in body, my vehement rejection of this union emanates from the very core of my being. Every fiber within me resists the notion of this marriage."

Tenbo's rejection manifested physically as a subtle yet firm tension in his shoulders, a resolute straightening of his posture that conveyed a silent defiance against the impending union. His gaze, held a glint of determination, reflecting the inner conflict echoing through his entire being.

"I find myself in a state of ennui, and my intention is to embark on a mission that not only serves the betterment of the village but also allows me to engage in a discussion with Lord Homage regarding the current state of the world."
