Moments after his arrival on the scene and his nonchalant greeting a sense of dread rolled across Kokezaru's body as the presence of Tenbo rered its head as he picked up the scent of the mans chakra which gave of an oppressive scent just like Yaju's. This was a by product of the difference in their level of strength and power in comparison to him. It was an innate and instinctive sensory skill of the Sarugami and right now it was telling him that he and Gyoken should retreat, but before he could speak Gyoken and the man who's name was quickly revealed to be Tenbo Uchiha began to clash in a battle that was rather one sided due to the sheer difference in power between the two which Kokezaru could discern via his sense of smell.

As the clashed Koezaru had the desire to jump in and assist his friend even if his instincts told him to run, but Gyoken was a friend and ally and he couldn't just sit by and watch him be beaten by Tenbo. He quickly made up his mind though and fighting against his instincts prepared to jump in to rescue his friend when a new combatant entered the fray and attempted a rescue only for Gyoken to disregard it and continue fighting as he intended to take Tenbo on solo. To Kokezaru this cause a conundrum as he didn't want to see an ally get hurt , he didn't want to disrespect his friends wishes so instead of joining he chose to instead sit and watch waiting and biding his time until there was no option left but to interfere on Gyoken's behalf.

"Damn it Ryu, looks like we have to just watch and wait. This isn't our fight," said Kokezaru as he dropped down into a seated position legs crossed a top the branch of the tree. "Good job kid, your smarter than i thought. This is a fight between the Cat and the Rat we Monkey don't need to interfere," Ryuzaru replied as he transformed in his bat for and sheathed himself on Kokezaru's back. As Kokezaru sat there his eyes fixated on the Uchiha's collision he focused all his snses on the clash taking in ever bit of it and studying the use of both shinobi's fire release techniques. Being a member of the Sarutobi a clan famed for their fire release and shuriken jutsu simmilary to the Uchiha there was a lot he could learn by watching.

His snses were focused so heavily on the clash that he failed to notice the arrival of the one they called the Hound of Konoha his own sensei Yaju until the man spoke making his presence known. "Oh sensei your here. Sorry about not making it to the tree like you asked. I kinda got distracted," said Kokezaru in his normal nonchalant way no longer intimidated by the scent of Yaju's chakra as he now associated it with the idea of a teacher and mentor not an stranger.

Takashi stands motionless, his back resting against the same tree that had halted Gyoken’s flight moments earlier. The bark was cracked, splintered from the impact, still bearing the fresh memory of the young Uchiha's crash. His Byakugan remained fully activated, pale and unblinking, veins bulging near his temples as his gaze tracked Gyoken’s movements. Every twitch, every subtle shift in footing, every burst of chakra, Takashi saw it all with crystal clarity. And what he saw made him narrow his eyes slightly.

closeuptakashiByakugan.png

“He's thinking three steps ahead.”

Takashi thought.

“Not bad… He’s beginning to see the battlefield like a shinobi should.”

But before he could further assess Gyoken’s growing strategy, a sharp, unmistakably howl cut through the forest. Takashi's focus snapped outward. His head tilted slightly as his Byakugan expanded its range, scanning the forest in a wide radius. His chakra vision flared as new signatures flickered into view.

“One. Two. Three… Seven?”

Seven new presences had entered the area. But one of them burned brighter than the rest. Massive reserves of chakra coiled and surged within that one form like a caged beast.

“That chakra... it can’t be..”

Before he could finish the thought, one of the signatures vanished in a blink. No dramatic flair, no sound. Just silence… and then presence. From only meters ahead emerged a figure known all too well to those of Konoha:

Yaju Inuzuka - Konoha’s Wild Hound.

Takashi’s jaw tightened ever so slightly. His lips barely parted as he muttered under his breath.

“Of all the people to arrive now… it has to be him?”

He took one step forward instinctively, preparing to engage or at the very least, greet this unpredictable force of nature. But before his foot could hit the ground again, a low, guttural growl vibrated from his right. Takashi stops in his tracks as he froze mid step. His gaze shifted towards the growl. One of Yaju’s massive, battle-trained ninken stood just beside him, fangs bared, muscles tense, eyes locked with his.

Their gazes meet for a few seconds and Takashi’s mind flickered through possibilities, dozens of outcomes unfolding in parallel. Retreat, engagement, negotiation, warning signs… none of them ideal. After a deep breath, he relented. Calmly, slowly, he stepped back and leaned against the tree, his foot planting firmly against the base behind him.

“Tch…”

The message was clear. With Tenbo and Gyoken locked in their deadly dance, Kokezaru watching from the edge, and now Yaju and his pack entering the battlefield, Takashi's freedom of movement had been severely restricted. Every move would now be watched, judged and countered.

For the first time in a while, Takashi wasn’t just calculating an opponent, he was navigating a battlefield full of allies who could become obstacles. And yet, his eyes remained calm. Focused. Waiting.

"Let's see how this plays out."

Inoka sat with a composed expression, his hands gently resting on the smooth surface of his desk, eyes fixed on the Chinoike Kunoichi before him. Soma, a young but evidently capable shinobi, had just sliced her palm open with a kunai, releasing a steady stream of blood that dripped onto Inoka's desk. For a split second, Inoka tensed, an instinctive reaction to the sight of blood, but then, he quickly realized the situation wasn’t a threat. She wasn’t attacking him. Rather, she was demonstrating something remarkable. He watched intently as the blood from her palm began to form letters, delicate yet precise, forming words on the wood of the desk.

The script was legible, and Inoka took in each sentence with a quiet, analytical gaze. His sharp mind immediately began working, making the connections. ‘So, she can manipulate blood,’ Inoka mused, his expression unchanged. ‘I’m sure she can probably manipulate not just her own, but an enemy’s as well. A dangerous yet invaluable skill for a shinobi of her caliber.’ He considered the implications of Soma's ability: not only could she use this talent in combat, but it could make her an excellent infiltrator. The precision and subtlety of her powers could easily be used to extract sensitive information or disable an opponent without them ever knowing. A shrewd and calculating asset for any mission requiring subtlety.

Inoka leaned back slightly in his chair, his eyes narrowing thoughtfully as he processed everything he had just learned. Inoka was already contemplating how her abilities would fit into Konohagakure's broader operations. She would be perfect for gathering intel, especially in missions where discretion and the ability to manipulate the environment quietly were essential.

However, as he was about to continue his assessment, an obnoxious, high-pitched singing disrupted his thoughts. Inoka’s eyes shifted to the door as the sound of someone crooning out a terribly off-key melody echoed through the estate. A quiet exhale of frustration slipped past his lips. “I know that God-awful singing anywhere,” he muttered to himself, irritated yet somewhat amused by the familiarity of it.

Just then, the door swung open, and Inoka’s face broke into a smirk. “Ah, speak of the devil.” The person responsible for the noise—Rinha Hachiro—appeared in the doorway, his grin wide and carefree despite his less-than-pleasant singing. Inoka sighed inwardly but remained composed. “Rinha Hachiro,” he said, turning his attention back to Soma for a moment, then back to the boy, “I'd like you to meet your temporary teammate for your next mission: Chinoike Soma, from Kirigakure.”

Inoka watched carefully for Rinha's reaction to his words. He had no doubt that the two would make an interesting pair. While Soma’s abilities could be put to use in a myriad of ways, Rinha’s brashness and straightforward nature would keep things from growing too complicated. Inoka had no intention of allowing the mission to falter, not when the stakes were so high.

“This will be a test for you both,” Inoka added, leaning forward slightly. His smirk deepened as he spoke, a glint of amusement in his eyes. “I think you’ll find that you’ll work well together. An intelligence gathering mission, no less. I’m sure you both can handle it.” His gaze flicked back to Soma, noting her composure, and then to Rinha, sensing that the boy would need some adjustment to the task at hand. But for now, all that mattered was seeing how they would mesh as a team.

Inoka leaned back again, giving a small nod. “I’ll leave the details of the mission to you two. Just remember, I expect results. Don’t disappoint me.”

Present Time
After a Long and trialing journey, Leading the members of the Tendo Clan through the grass District, the Whirlpool District, and alas to the Leaf District; what felt long a long week of traveling by foot, the Cyan eyed People of the Grass had finally arrived upon the Leaf's Gates, Walking with them, a member who had become the rightful heir and leader of the Clan, once a Child of the Grass who became a Shinobi of the Leaf had stepped forward towards the Gates and its protecting Shinobi on duty.
Jin Tendo Adult.png

Though his hair now shaggy and unkempt, wearing a Skin tight Black short sleeve undershirt that was covered over by a Jet black kimono with Ocean blue Trimmings and Fukuro Obi. Beneath the long sleeves of the Kimono of the Tendo clan was that of the same blue coloring Wrist cloth going up to his elbows. On his left index finger he wore his deceased mothers Promise Ring a Momento to not only his sins, but a reminder that he must be better than what his Father and Grandfather wanted him to be. With Onyx black Baggy pants that cover over his Stealth Gray Shinobi sandals, Jin Tendo stood, his left hand on his hip as he spoke with but a calm tone, unlike his previous way of speaking towards others, he seemed more calm and showing efforts to give respect to others,
"We of the Tendo Clan have come seeking Refuge, traveling all the way from the Grass District, My name is Jin Tendo, once apart of team Yaju under the Orders Of Lord Suzaku. I've come to speak to him about my reinstatement as a Shinobi of the Leaf. Please relay this to him. We are willing to wait outside the village gates until a summoning is given."
Jin Speaking with a calm tone, waiting for a response from the Shinobi on guard duty as the Elderly Tendo men and women slowly sat themselves to relax their old bones from the journey whilst the Tendo children run around, avoiding bumping into passing by pedestrians. Feeling a gentle breeze as the leaves sway atop the tree's, Jin stared at the village from beyond the Gates, a nostalgic feeling swaying through him as beside him was his Cousin Anrei Tendo who though remained silent seemed to have their current clan leaders back with full support. Tsubaki, another key player to Jin regaining his memory seemed to be lending out rations to the elderly and children of the clan, showing that even with such drastic moves they remained as a family, their bonds unwavering.

Hachiro blinked, visibly surprised. His posture straightened slightly, and his brows furrowed as he regarded the small girl, even by kid standards. She looked more like someone’s kid sister than a shinobi prepared for duty. Her eyes though were more intense, holding a quiet edge that hinted at something deeper beneath the surface. He wasn’t expecting to be thrown onto a mission so soon, let alone with someone like her. However, as Lord Inoka continued to speak; Hachiro’s eyes flicked back to the Hokage with a more serious expression. There was a weight to Inoka’s words, the kind that wasn’t just about teamwork—it was clear that he was putting his trust in both of them but it was definitely testing more than that. After a moment, Hachiro’s gaze softened. He stepped forward, offering a calm smile as he approached Soma. With one hand, he patted the young girl lightly on the shoulder. The other rose behind his head in a sheepish gesture, and his voice became light with a added dry chuckle.
Hachiro: Well… can’t say I know what use my abilities will be on an intel mission, but hey i'll do my best not to get in the way.

He gave a small laugh, not mocking, but clearly trying to ease the tension. Hachiro, glanced at Soma again then shifted his stance slightly to be level with her. There was something sharp in her eyes… not dangerous, but focused, and more experienced than some others. The look in her eyes reminded Hachiro of himself, young but had already been through too much at such a young age.
Hachiro: Alright then, you know more details about this whole mission than I do. I guess you can fill me in on the way.

Yaju couldn’t help but shake his head as he watched the Uchiha clash with one another. They were such fickle creatures in his eyes even dogs didn’t bicker as much as they did. Whether it was interclan politics or situations like this where one felt superior it didn’t matter in his eyes. This was what he expected of the pups yet untrained and as far as Yaju was concerned Tenbo, Gyoken, even Mirai. They were all yearning for discipline, yearning to strut their stuff and earn their place at the top of the food chain. Unfortunate even in the eyes of a predator like Yaju they were nothing more than scraps, the bottom rung. Gyoken being so eager to prove himself when the aspect of a Leaf shinobi was their tenet to complete the mission; Yaju had given the boy his mission and twice now he had failed to come to heel. The first was to establish amongst himself and his comrades who their leader was going to be, the second was to meet him at the center of the forest, and now a third postured itself as he aimed to clash wills with Tenbo. Tenbo’s words in hopes of quelling Yaju’s fervor for the situation was nothing more than the mewlings of a rat caught in a trap. His blackened metal fangs wet with anticipation moreover even the Hyuga lord that resided nearby couldn’t avoid the sudden approach of Yaju’s hounds. They were always watching never too far from their own master as he was on the trail of his next hunt. Despite Yaju standing right in front of Tenbo even the Uchiha perception didn’t afford him the obvious misstep he had gone so far to hide. Jujin, the largest of Yaju’s hounds, wasn't even side by side with his master. Yaju’s nostrils flared with anticipation as he watched Gyoken attempt his next strike on Tenbo. Had it all gone according to plan Gyoken would find that Yaju was unimpressed and more over his face wore a fleck of irritation as he watched everything unfold. However he offered Tenbo a reprisal of his attempted teaching with words of his own.

“You’ll need a better scapegoat than that I’m afraid…”

What Tenbo could find instead of Yaju merely allowing him to pass was that of Yaju’s hounds encroaching upon their location. They stepped from the depths of the forest with a practiced lethality. Their jowls clenched and their throats bellowing with a low growl as they stepped closer to their masters' decided prey. Had Tenbo attempted to leave in efforts of going to train with Takashi instead he could find Yaju standing in his path with his eyes leaden with chakra much like before. His words were stern and resolve ever clear as he spoke to Tenbo.

“If you ever approach Gyoken again without my permission it will be the last time you do...”
His hounds would snap in audible reply. The sound of their fangs clamping together would cause even those hidden amongst the brush to shudder. The pack mentality of animals such as this were far from bred out of fear but rather bred from strength. A welcomed bond amongst them allowed Yaju and Jujin to be their leader. Yet when they were threatened even amongst impromptu members of their pack they would not hesitate with or without Yaju’s insight. The interaction between everyone present was going to be nothing more than tongue in cheek by the end of it. Had Tenbo decided to strike out in defiance he would find Yaju and his hounds more than poised to handle anything he had to offer.

The guards at the front gate wore expressions of visible confusion as they observed the unusual gathering of foreigners waiting at the village entrance. Among the crowd stood Jin Tendo, the foreign exchange student from Kusagakure's Grass District, his presence immediately recognizable. Before the guards could utter a single word, they heard a familiar voice echo clearly within their minds—a telepathic message that extended directly to Jin himself.

"For safety precautions, at this time, I will only allow you to reside within Konohagakure," came Inoka's voice, calm yet assertive. "I recognize Lord Suzaku granted you citizenship, but you have yet to earn my trust. You've failed your first mission and then vanished without explanation. I still need time to determine exactly who you are, and whether you truly share the ideals of the Leaf."

Despite the seriousness of his words, Inoka maintained his serene composure, an enigmatic smile fixed upon his face as he continued. "Inform your clan that they may take shelter within the Leaf District, but access to Konohagakure itself requires explicit authorization. For now, you will continue your training under Inuzuka Yaju." Inoka’s instructions were delivered decisively, leaving no room for negotiation.

Even as he conducted this telepathic exchange, Inoka remained fully engaged with the two shinobi before him, Soma and Hachiro, his expression unchanged. Turning his calm gaze directly toward Hachiro, his poker face firmly intact, Inoka spoke aloud with measured clarity, his tone welcoming yet authoritative.

"I'm assigning you both to the Waterfall District. Recent intelligence suggests members of the Shadow Realm have established a presence there. Given your unique abilities, you'll excel in infiltration. However," he paused, his voice taking on a sterner edge, "understand that if your identities are exposed, your lives are forfeit. Do not wear any clothing or headbands that link you to your home villages."

Inoka paused briefly before continuing, "You'll operate under Uchiha Shijo’s leadership. He’s currently at the Uchiha Compound—you'll find him there." Reaching into his robes, Inoka produced two peculiar kunai, each attached to an unusual doll bearing a subtle imprint of his own consciousness—an intricate secret known only to him.

"Take these," he instructed calmly, handing each shinobi the special kunai. "They may prove essential."

LEGENDARY

The battle was far from over, and Gyoken remained steadfast—determined to prove his worth. A smirk formed on the face of the enigma, who had quickly seen through the ruse. In the absence of presence around him, he was sharp enough to sense… nothing. A thought crossed Tenbo’s mind—one of quiet gratitude, a rare appreciation for such quick-witted instinct. Gyoken was a promising candidate. But promise alone wasn’t enough to satisfy the hunger of the Master of Whispers. Still, the deception had been paired with a defensive reflex—an instinctive mechanism that, whether by design or desperation, had spared Gyoken from the destructive force threatening to consume him.

Though nearly imperceptible, the clone’s presence had vanished—commanding the respect of the obsidian oculars that tracked it. What remained was a unique sealing tag, one that had absorbed the reflection entirely. Moments later, Gyoken’s seal unraveled with a sharp burst of chakra, releasing the captured wind blast just as it was being redirected—now hurtling back toward Tenbo with precise, retaliatory force.

Tenbo’s Gunbai was already in position, raised with practiced precision—its lacquered surface gleaming faintly beneath the fading light. The legendary Uchiha war fan performed its duty once more, just as it had countless times in the hands of his ancestors. With a subtle twist of his wrist, the chakra-infused gust was absorbed into the fan’s core, swallowed whole without resistance. Then, with a swift, calculated sweep to his left, Tenbo released it. The air cracked like thunder.

A colossal torrent of wind erupted from the Gunbai’s arc, tearing through the battlefield with unstoppable momentum. The earth shuddered beneath its weight as gravel, dirt, and shattered stone exploded into the air, flung skyward like dust before a hurricane. Trees in the path of the gale were ripped from their roots, splintering and spiraling into the air like broken spears. The roar of the unleashed wind was deafening—a primal scream of nature bent to the will of a single man. Where once stood a forested expanse, there was now only a raw, scarred stretch of land—torn asunder by the force of Tenbo’s effortless counter.
Illustration2.png

"Impressive..."

His voice echoed through the clearing, carried on the wind long after the dust had settled. "Maybe... you are the best of us all," he muttered, his gaze narrowing as he considered Gyoken’s boundless potential. Under his own guidance, shaped by his hand, Gyoken could become something far greater—something terrifying. Especially as the Jinchūriki... the one who carried the blaze within.

The Hound of Konoha, whom had arrived—unyielding, assertive, and without hesitation. Tenbo’s obsidian gaze shifted toward him, unimpressed. Some dogs simply didn’t know restraint. Unlike the rats, whose patience held lethal weight, this one barked loud—
as if famished for blood and glory. Words meant to carry weight—spoken with bite—meant little to a rat on the verge of starvation. To such a creature, every threat was fleeting, irrelevant. Everything was temporary...until it was time to eat. The hounds moved with practiced precision—growls low, jaws clenched tight—each step meant to intimidate. They looked ready to tear flesh from bone, and Tenbo… he was itching for the chance. But now wasn’t the time. Not yet. Their approach was a warning—both seen and heard—of what awaited him should he press forward. And at the center of it stood Yaju. Yaju, the so-called leader, who blocked his path with the illusion of control...grasping for authority over a situation he was never truly part of.

This wasn’t the optimal time to continue his dance with Gyoken—not with the Hound salivating for dominance and his pack closing in. But silence wasn’t surrender. He remained still, yet hyper-aware—his senses threading into the world around him like roots sinking into soil. Through Nature’s connection, he attuned himself to the rhythm of the earth. Every breath of wind, the scuttle of hidden paws, the weight of presence—be it man, beast, or otherwise—was known to him. He stood amidst the tension not as prey, but as a phantom among the trees. Watching. Waiting. Listening.

A few moments passed in heavy silence. Then, with a slow, deliberate nod, Tenbo offered a gesture of submission—acknowledging Yaju’s demands. Whether that submission carried weight was another matter entirely.

“Of course...”
The words slipped from his lips—measured, calm, and absent of fear. There was no reverence behind them. No loyalty. Only a strategic appeasement... a necessary concession to preserve his own ambitions, his current passions—things he refused to let be derailed. He turned, hair brushing against the breeze, and continued forward. Out of Yaju’s reach. Into the foliage. Into the unknown. And just like that—he vanished. A shadow swallowed by the trees, his destination unrevealed... but his presence far from forgotten.

Sōma observes Hachiro from her seat the older boy looks surprised at the sight of her and Inoka in the office while addressing him in his temporary partnership with her for intel gathering, he seems to look at her strangely, she had never had someone stare at her like that, but she will investigate that later, she has much to discuss with this older boy, Hachiro Rinha. Truth be told, she wasn't expecting to go out on a mission already, but due to it being infiltration and intel gathering, she can exert some of her capabilities and put them to use, not to cause destruction, but deep down, she has been itching to get out and be a shinobi once more.

Watching his gaze soften and pat her shoulder lightly, which she returns by getting out of her chair and returning the favor by lightly fist pumping her chest and nodding to him, their height difference plain to see, a mute girl at standing at a height of four foot six' while this older boy look to be at least five foot six or more, netherless Sōma immediately felt like the typical short friend in the group, especially when she looks up slightly to stare at his face before raising her left hand, calling forth her blood which floating back to her hand taking the form of three small red marbles that twirl in her hand but they quickly began to ripple and break apart to form more words in her hand after listening to both Hachiro and Lord Hokage, Inoka who also added that they will be assigned to Shijo Uchiha, that name Uchiha sounds familiar but she don't know how, hopefully, once they are there "We can discuss it on the way the Uchiha Compound, hopefully there is a map that can lead us there" the blood letters returning to blood marbles in her hand then takes the strange looking Kunai Inoka is giving to Hachiro and herself before bowing to him and turn to her now-new partner, giving a subtle gesture, After you.

Hearing words spoken to him, though not through the ordinary verbal method but ones spoken directly to his mind, Jin stood seemingly baffled, as such methods were unknown to him; taken aback, almost as if he was about to take a step back in a momentary scene of being flabbergasted; he quickly steadied himself, responding back though his lips did not part with one another but rather with his thoughts,
"Understood. I will inform the Members of my clan to seek out towards the nearest town. And confirmed, I must ask though... Where exactly is the last known position of Yaju Sensei?"
The tone of his thoughts were not one of condescension, or that of a crude nature, but rather one of confirmation of the ordeal played at hand. Rather than his old self who would question or rebuke such a person speaking to him, This new reawakened Jin merely looked at the situation at a more different angle, understanding that his sudden disappearance caused by his father may have put a distrust on him with those in the leaf, a distrust he would have to rectify. And as such, turning back towards Tsubaki and Anrei Tendo, Jin spoke this time with his voice,
"We have been granted Permission to reside in the Leaf District, But members of the clan outside my self are currently not permitted within the gates of the Leaf itself. Anrei, Tsubaki; Please escort our people to the Tonika Village. We will be able to provide them a better life, and begin the replanting of our Rainbow Herbs beneath the estate once it has been constructed. It seems I've been summoned to report to the Inuzuka who will be my current Sensei at this point of time. I'll be in contact when I am able... Please ensure they are safe, the elderly and children. Do not let the strong believe they can do as they please... We must rebuild our tarnished name."
Jin stated before turning away from his cousin and child hood friend, allowing them to gather the members of the Tendo clan and guide them towards the Tonika Village. As for Jin Tendo, as he faced back towards the Village gates, he began stepping forth; his Cyan eyes staring forward with no proceedings to look back in both a sense of his past or in the sense of showing second thoughts for the proceedings ahead of him. This was something he needed to do, and as he began walking through the village gates as the Members of The Tendo Clan proceeded to journey out towards Tonika Village, Jin awaited for a confirmation of the location of who he was to report too.
